Just checked out your pictures on Randy's. Love your shoes, umbrella (it is not an umbrella but I can't spell what I mean). You guys looks so happy and of course you look beautiful. I guess I forgot you were having Randy too. Can't wait to read your vendor reviews.

I know you are going to tell us but did you use Carolyn Allens for dress steaming and bustling? I was worried that my friend wouldn't lace me up right so I paying just a bit for CA to do it.

We were in Disney for a few days after the wedding, then to Ft. Lauderdale for a few days, and then a week cruise. We are back in Ft Lauderdale today and flying home first thing tomorrow. I can't wait!

Yes, I used Carolyn Allens for dress steaming. All went well! My mom laced me up. We practiced a lot at home first! A tip that the bridal store told me was to lace it up and then wait 10 minutes and repull it tighter. It sort of settles in those 10 minutes. My wedding planner bustled me when I got the reception. I barely walked in the door and she was taking care it for me.

I like the 10 minute idea. Glad to know the dress steaming went well too.

A cruise sounds nice. I have never been but hope to someday. It is nice to be gone but nice to be home-especially to look through all your wedding photos etc.

I am finally back home and sort of settled so I figured I would start on my vendor reviews.

Carolyn Allen's - They came on time to steam my dress and my mom's. At the last minute we also had to have them do a little bit on DH's and my dad's jacket. They didn't have any problems squeezing the jackets in. Overall, there isn't too much to say other than they did a good job.

Beaute Speciale - Ana and another girl, Carrie I think?, came to do my hair and my makeup and my mom's makeup. They were right on time and got right to work. I wasn't nervous at all that day but if I had been I think Ana would have put me right at ease. Ana and Carrie were chatting with each other and us like we had known each other for awhile and not just a few minutes. Ana understood exactly what I wanted for my hair and made sure I was happy with each thing that she did. Carrie was glad to look at pictures I had brought of makeup looks that I liked. I think it gave her a better idea of what I was looking for. I loved how both my hair and makeup came out. Everything still looked great at the end of the day. Other than lip gloss I never needed to touch anything up. Ana came back the next morning for my Epcot photo shoot. I almost liked my hair and makeup better than the wedding day! I wore my makeup around the parks all day and it still looked good at the end of the day!

Randy Chapman - I LOVED Randy! I have only gotten a few pictures back but so far I am thrilled with them! Randy was great to work with. He was there on time and started shooting right away. He has an ease about him that makes it very comfortable when all the sudden this stranger has a camera in your face. DH and I had a great time laughing with him while we were going around taking pictures. Randy was even able to laugh and kid around with our families. We are so glad that we choose Randy for our photographer.

I have another comment that goes with these three vendors. It was obvious from the beginning that they all work together frequently. As soon as Ana came in the room she said hi to the woman from Carolyn Allen's by name. She and Randy work together a lot as well. It was really nice to be surrounded by a familiar, comfortable environment the morning of the wedding instead of a hotel room full of strangers.

I am being really slow in getting my reviews finished. Sorry! For some reason I thought I would be LESS busy after the wedding but it doesn't seem to be so.

Disney Weddings - I was really happy with my planner. She always emailed me back right away. I felt she "got" the idea of what I was going for. The day of the wedding went perfectly! I was really expecting something to not go right but everything was exactly how I imagined it. My planner took care of everything. I was so relaxed the day of the wedding since I knew she would let me know if I was supposed to be doing something.

Disney Floral - Laura was absolutely fantastic! I had brought a few pictures of flowers I liked to the planning session and she immediately started suggesting different things that they could do. I got my floral BEO pretty quickly but after that it would take Laura a little while to get back to me. Once I was closer to the wedding I would get emails back the same day. I gave Disney Floral a lot of leeway with the centerpieces and they did an amazing job. They had just the feel that I was going for. I loved my bouquet! It was way bigger than I expected.

Disney Photography - I used DPS for our dessert party pictures and we did an Epcot photo shoot. I didn't have huge expectations especially for the DP since so many people here haven't had the best experiences. We had Regina for both days. She was great to work with. The pictures came out really well especially the Epcot photo shoot. Most of those are fantastic! I was really happy that Regina took lots of pictures of the details of the DP and a lot of our guests. I should be getting the CD of the pictures any day now. I will be sure to post some pictures.

I am going to try to do a wish I did/glad I did list over the next few days too since I always found those so helpful.

Are your DIS photography photos available for others too see. surprise, surprise but with less then a month to go I am again questioning the $$ for the park shoots. I am definitely going with the dessert party shoot thoogh but would love to see your photos. Are the prices quite high to order photos right from Disney. We will have DIS photography for the wedding (along with Randy's pictures) and dessert party. Not sure if it is worth to buy the disc but I am thinking I have to have it.

I am going with your topper and taking your suggestion on the dress. I was able to get it back and I am going to a different seamstress to finish things up. Thanks for your help with all my questions.

I too debated on the money for the Epcot shoot. I am SO glad that we did it. Just going to Epcot to take the pictures was worth the money. It was so much fun! I am even more thrilled with how the pictures turned out. It looks like the prices are $10 for 4x6 through Disney. I am really glad that I ordered the disk since once I saw the pictures I knew I would want to order almost all of them. It was a hard decision to spend the money though.
