I agree. That's why I said could we please let this go? For as many people who hate the ride, probably just as many love it. You don't like it, bypass it. I don't care for Animal Kingdom but I'm not ranting that it needs to be done away with.

You guys crack me up. Why are you taking this so serious. It was intended to be a joke. Sure I don't like Stitch, but whether it stays or goes has no real meaning in my life.

I was just making a little joke on how lame the ride is. But hey if you like it - I have no problem with that, everybody has different tastes, but in my opinion after all the hype about it and all the other great new attractions like Soarin and Mickey's Philarmagic - I thought Disney could be more creative with it. To me it seemed like the bean counters got a hold of it and cut corners.

I'm still not sure how I feel about Animal Kingdom, but there is an attraction I heard mix reviews about and when I went on it - I was blown away. So I know how some people's taste differ and I respect that. The ride I am talking about is Dinosaur. IMHO that ride is one of the best Disney has done in years.

Having said all this, can someone who likes the Stitch ride explain what it is about it they like. I really got to know. My 10 year old daughter also hated it so - not all kids dig it.

Here's what I don't get....once they realized what this thread was about, why did they bother continue to read it and then reply to it if they are sooooo tired of this topic? Like you, I don't get annoyed or upset when people rant about the same things over and over again that I like or are indifferent too. I just ignore it and move onto other threads. Why bump it up with a reply if you want it to die?

Even though there would be a petition, I don't think it would make a difference. They just spent all that time renovating it. If they took it down right away it would be like saying, "Yeah, we made a mistake." If it does get taken down, I wouldn't expect it to happen for many many more years to come. Plus, there are people who like the ride. DBF and I find it just okay. We'd go on it again, but not wait for it.

i do hate it. ive never been on it... lol but i hate it because it took over one of my favorite attractions, and i just never liked stitch, so i refuse to ride it.

HOWEVER, im sure plenty of people love it. Different strokes for different folks.

I say let the issue be, why waste time complaining.

You can just do like i do and whenever you pass it mutter expletives under your breath heheheh.

Hated the ride/attraction, wish I could have had my wasted time back. Love AE, thought it was a shame they closed it. It was a worse crime that they replaced it with Stitch! If they keep it open I'll still go to WDW but avoid it. If they eventually replace it ( ) I'll be thrilled and excited to see the new attraction.

My big hope (and I will sign the non-existant petition that will be returned to us by legal in case we try to have a non-existant lawsuit for our idea) is that they stop trying to selling us on Stitch. Oh, I don't mean for them stop selling the merchandise. I mean stop the Stitch teepeeing of the castle, the Stitch graffeti, the Stitch taking over of the wake-up calls, the monorail and buses. It is NOT Stitch's Kingdom.

I agree with the OP, people are taking this thread waaaaaaay tooooo seriously. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. There are a number of people that feel as though the Stitch attraction does not live up to the Disney standard of excellence. There are a number of people (though I can't understand why) that really love this attraction. There are also a number of people that just don't really give a gosh darn one way or the other. Hey, that's life.

My feelings? For every person in line at Stitch is one less person in line at the ride I'm going to. Those that hate it won't go back. Then they'll be in the lines I want to be in. So here's to hoping more people love it and want to see it again and again and again and again....

I have never been on the Stitch ride but I have been on the one that was there before it. Alien Encounter or something like that. I liked that. Is Stitch so different? Why do so many people think it's bad? Of course now I'll have to find out for myself but I'm just curious why so many dislike the same attraction?

Oversaturation. An entire restuarant was sacrificed to the almighty princess dollar. I'd prefer Akershus only had the princess breakfast and a normal lunch and dinner, but I'm in the minority since many people buy into the entire princess thing.

And thanks, but my countdown timer is just a standard v50 one. The doom buggy was created by my DH separately.

As far as not liking Stitch, for some its oversaturation like Pooh and the Princesses. For many others, it's a poorly done attraction. It ends abruptly and is not very entertaining. Imagineering feel asleep at the wheel here...

In all honesty - this is a terrible attraction. I'm sure you all remember what happened with JIYI - After Journey Into Imagination turned into Journey Into YOUR Imagination - it was hated SO MUCH by everyone - all people could ask was "Where's Figment?" They took away my childhood!!! Then after so many complaints, Disney changed the ride, bringing figment back...however it's still nowhere as good as the Original Journey Into Imagination... My point is, our actions/words DO AFFECT Disney - and I care too much about WDW to let this terrible ride reside there.

Not only that but I am starting a petition to kill Hester & Chester's too. It's been done..it's uninspired, uncreative, UNSAFE, and has NOTHING to do with Dinoland.

Thankfully, had fast-passes. If we had waited in line for all that time, I would have been very upset!
