I'm liking Southwest more and more

Ok, not only did I get one-way tickets for $39 from Norfolk to MCO, but I'm also able cancel ressies for cheaper fares and then "store" credits to use for future flights (with some restrictions). Ok, well I had some credits that were going to expire because of those restrictions (basically you have 1 year to use those credits, but the expiration date is based on the oldest credit). I realized I was in that situation because of an old credit (I think it was around $5) that was set to expire in early December. Well I had cancelled another ressie and found out that that $180 or so would also be expiring in early December!

I then called customer relations and they told me they could extend it by 6 months by issuing me a voucher and I could either use that voucher by going to the airport or buying the tickets now and mailing the voucher back in. Inconvenient, but better than losing all the money. Well, that was over a month ago and I never received the vouchers so I called again today and was told that the person had set it so that the vouchers would be mailed out when the funds expired.

Anyway, the guy told me he'd process it now so the vouchers would go out now. I then asked him about using the vouchers and he said they had a new voucher that could now be used online. He said they now have a unique code that you enter online to apply those funds!!!! I was like... oh cool... so I can use it for the DING rates!!!! (which you couldn't before unless you paid for it all then mailed in the voucher for a refund)...

I love how they are making it more convenient... plus they have cheap non-stop flights from Norfolk to MCO!!!
