Only because this board depresses me.

We came back from our March break trip last week. So much fun. It was our third trip in a year as we had bought into DVC and had all of these bonus points to use. Now that we've used them, it'll be awhile before we go back. I'm thinking a year (although I'm hoping I can persuade the wife to do a Sun to Thurs trip in November).

It's quite painful to read a post from someone who's at WDW and wanted to give a live update or having to read a review of the wonderful trip you just had. It makes me sad.

So I am banning myself from this place until it's closer to the time when we are going back. Then I'll come back on to gloat and rub it in.

Dang you Dis'ers and Disney.

Have to agree with you..... it is depressing to read about all the disney trips..... last August we had all our points borrowed up until June 2009 so no Disney trips being planned for us right now Just other trips
It is an addicting place and I just keep coming back!!

I hear what you are saying ... it's depressing for me too, since our next planned trip isn't until Jan 2010. But don't leave your friends ... do what I do- live vicariously through others!

Besides, the Canadian board is THE nicest board on all of the DIS.

We to just got back last week---no wait, last week at this time I was still there
I just logged off the DVC site where I was contemplating planning a trip back to AKV in Nov....our annual passes expire on Nov. 13, so why not get one more use out of them
I can't run this idea past DH yet , and can only book at the 7 month window as we are BWV owners.
I also think the above idea would be cheaper in the long run than adding on 50+ points at AKV...but that would be more fun.

Of coarse it's hard coming on here hearing about peoples planning and trip reports, but if this is the only Disney I get until we plan our next trip i'm all for it. Becides we all have a little something to offer to this community including you and me.

You are Canadian, you are strong, you are courageous, you are some one to look up to..... SO.... we both know you can do this..... You can hold on tightly to those memories that will keep you happy till your next visit.
( And if you're bored come up here and help us shovel snow. all 13 1/2/ feet of it!!! )
Though I do feel your pain a little as I have had to cancel my trip in May due to ankle injury and future surgery But I'll be back someday.

Sorry to hear you had to cancel your trip wenabre. I don't know how I could handle it. Just to rub it in a little...down here in the banana belt the last remnants of snow are almost gone. Though I do hear we might see 5-10 cm this weekend. Probably will come down as rain anyway.

Just kidding. We are going on our first trip as DVC owners in Jan. So I have lots of time to have fun on here planning.

Yep can't go again until next March but hey that's only 11 or so months away...

Okay, here's the deal. I will put you on probationary status. People are allowed to have fun discussing their recent or upcoming trips. BUT NOT TOO MUCH FUN. My foot is like half way out the door, so be careful.

Maybe if the weather warms up a little, I won't be so crusty.
