I'm leaving for POFQ today- COME HELL OR HIGH WATER!

Well, we cancelled and rebooked twice- because of Frances and then Ivan. We are leaving today and I find out (ten minutes ago) that Jeanne may be heading right for us. I absolutely do not care. We have all been suffering from HAD (Hurricane Anxiety disorder) down here for a month. The only downer is that my mom tends to be a worry wart and she will be the one worrying the whole time and wanting to come back early. I've had it. I can't take it anymore. I am at the end of my rope. I am supposed to be happy today and I'm miserable. See you all when I get back!

Best of Luck! I live in North Florida and at one point Ivan was suppose to hit here. Luckily, it did not, but until the hurricane is within a couple of days, they really don't know where it is going to hit, even then it can change. Sometimes they turn into just tropical storms.

We are staying at FQ 10/21 - 10/24. Hope you have a great time.

It's still early though...I have ZERO faith in weather prediction. (coming from the northeast where they'll call a few flurries a blizzard.)

hey we went for a hurricane anxiety treatment last week in the midst of ivan and we loved it. wdw is probably the best place to be during a hurricane anyway. besides, the parks were deserted and everything including the new and big rides were walk on and rerides. go for it.

Just got off the phone wtih my mom-she doesn't want to go now. She really depresses me. I got off with her and cried really hard for about ten minutes. I really can't deal with this anymore. I am going so far...who knows...

Go, and have a great time, Friday a week ago everyone kept telling me I was crazy going to WDW with Ivan coming I told them Yeck I'll still have fun, and Disney's preparation is the best. We had beautiful weather the entire stay...

(I just made sure my car was full of gas as soon as I arrived then was ready either way.)
