Ahh I'm so glad I logged onto the DIS while we are eating lunch!
Seeing the castle for the first time on a trip is what really confirms that you're there. I can check into my resort and go to the other parks, but I'm not truly home until I'm walking down Main Street.

THAT PHOTOPASS PHOTO! Omg, it's perfect. The castle, the balloons, Main St.

Matt is just clearly excited that he got the girl and now he's making a dramatic exit down Main Street.

I love the photos from your camera too. The way you and Matt are embracing just makes me so happy. Y'all are so adorable. I'm so jealous that I don't have his lanyard though.

We definitely saw the construction workers standing by Beast's castle last January too. It was a good time for me to give a mini-presentation to my family on Disney's great use of forced perspective, because that's totally normal to do, right?

May I just say that I cannot wait to get a LeFou's Brew in April with Anna?! I didn't get any in November and I freaking love apple juice so yeah. Can't wait.

First time poster on this TR, so hi!

I love how in your pictures, the sky is grey, but the castle looks illuminated against it. So pretty!

I was just at WDW a week ago, and I'm a little disappointed I didn't try LeFou's Brew. I had heard mixed reviews, but your description makes it sound like something I would enjoy. But I mean, I think that's an excuse to go back.

Also, as a fan of the show Lost, I now feel like I should wait around in the stretching room next time. I'm always in such a hurry to get out and ride!

Looking forward to hearing about Be Our Guest, I so wish I could have eaten there!

I love walking into the Magic Kingdom for the first time on a trip! Epcot is my favorite park, but sometimes, I don't really feel like my trip is started until I see the Castle!

OMG the Peoplemover! I love it SO much! Ugh, those rude people sound awful, rudeness in Disney makes me SO mad! If I was in that situation, I probably would have done the same thing! I'm a nice person, and a pretty quiet person, but if something like that happened, forget it!

Ugh, I didn't think I'd care about the FP return time thing either, but I find myself having the same problem, with ADR's and planning to do other things, it's really annoying! Maybe when the new FP thing comes out, it will solve some of those problems!

Isn't New Fantasyland amazing! I could live there! I really liked Le Fou's brew, but I wasn't a big fan of the foam on top! I really want to get that Gaston mug, I have the Belle cup, so I feel like I should have both! I don't know why, I HATE plastic cups and I never use the Belle one, but it's just too adorable!

Haunted Mansion! How can you not love Haunted Mansion, it's just such a classic! I didn't know if you stayed in the stretch room you could hear "get out" that's so creepy, I love it!

I totally understand the emotion that comes over you on Main Street; the performers, the shops, the windows, the CASTLE! I definitely shed a tear every time. We went to DHS the first day on one of our trips, and it just doesn't feel like it starts until the Magic Kingdom.

I'm really happy that we didn't have to deal with any rain during our trip,but I have to say, when you see New Fantasyland without the sun completely beating down on everything, it just adds a whole additional layer and feel to the area!

Thank you! I was at first really sad about the cloudiness but then realized it actually wasn't a terrible thing for the photos because the colors of everything else got a chance to shine, so thank you!!

Aww, that is a shame! I really enjoyed it personally, though it helped I was also quite thirsty and I love apple juice! I wouldn't say it is the most amazing thing you'll ever taste, but it's definitely enjoyable! I think it's a fantastic reason for going back.

Yeah, it became a much bigger pain on this trip just due to the crowds and having to rely on FPs a LOT more than we normally did. I think if we have less ADRs in the future it'll make it less of an issue, honestly.

I LOVE New Fantasyland, it's really beautiful. I think once it's all complete in 2014 it'll be awesome though. We actually didn't get to spend as much time as I would have liked there during this trip (and I'll get to that later), but I figure during our next trip we will!

Of course it does! And yeah, you'll see as we go along... This January was ridiculously busy. Like, we've been 3 Januarys in a row and this was so much more crowded than ever before. I think New Fantasyland brought in a lot of crowds, there were a lot of dance/cheer competitions happening, AND with MLK Jr. weekend being later this year, it was a recipe for much higher crowds.

I really liked it!!

You should TOTALLY take video, it really is so different than photos. Photos are great, but I'm so happy I have that video to remember our trip by, as well!

I actually use the same camera that I use for photos. I find it MUCH easier to have just one camera so you can take a photo and then immediately switch over to video, you know?
