In spite of reviews, I'm still not sure which excursion I want to do on St. Martin...if any! Since I plan on snorkeling on both St. John and Castaway Cay, I'd rather not do a beach excursion. I think it's important to see the country (since it will be my first time) so I was thinking about the Under Two Flags excursion. Any suggestions or opinions on how best to "see" St. Martin?

Thanks!

The first time we went, we did the catamarran, golden eagle which takes you to a beach and snorkeling and it was fabulous. The next time, we did the kayaking tour which took us through a beautiful harbor and to an island. That time we then took a cab to the French capital and went on our own shopping to get the flavor of the French side. That was nice too. I think when we go in March we might go to the beach or go to French side kayaking or shopping again.

Hi Ivy, I think that is going to be the excursion that we take as well. Sounds like we can see alittle of everything there.

My wife convinced me to do the 2 metre regetta on St. Martin, something I NEVER would have done. What a blast. Our kids were 12 and 16 at the time, you can be as involved in running the boat as you want, or just sit back and watch the other paying tourists work their tails off!!!
Most awesome sight was the Queen Elizabeth 2, which was anchors in the bay....there we are on board Canada 2, circling the QE2.
