I'm just curious, Cinderella Castle Suite?

Not that I would EVER get to stay in it, not even in my wildest dreams. I've seen it on the travel channel, one of Samantha Brown's Disney shows. How do you get to stay in the castle suite, has anyone ever stayed in it, how expensive is it, and exactly how does it work. I mean you're staying in one of the parks, it seems like a really neat thing to do, but what about if you want some quiet time, but you have fireworks going off above your room. The suite looks beautiful on the show I saw, LOVE the bathroom! I've tried looking for info on the suite on the Disney World site, but come up empty handed, like I said just curious.

The suite isn't available for anyone to book. They apparently only use it for things like a sweepstakes prize.

I wondered about that, since I couldn't find any info on it at the Disney site. Darn, now I'm going to have to rearrange my plans when I win the lottery, LOL!!!:rotfl2: The show I saw, this suite was just amazing, would love to just have a tour of it.

I was JUST about to post this very question!!! OMGosh - it looks INCREDIBLE!!! I would LOVE LOVE to stay in it...keep on dreaming!!! I did read on a blog that people might be randomly sprinkled with MAJOR pixie dust while at one of the four parks and Downtown Disney and get to stay a night in it! :worship:

I just wish we could get a tour of it -- it looked so pretty on the show.:goodvibes

Heck they could probably charge people just to tour it!

We actually got to tour the suite last august! I was online late at night and noticed a thread on the DVC boards about signing up for a complementary tour
for DVC members. I was actually going to be there on those dates! We were so excited, especially my DD8, we were going to be there for her B day. Couldn't have worked out better if I'd planned it.

The CMs there were so great. They took out pictures wherever we wanted, just couldn't sit on the bed or use the bathroom. We felt so special getting to see this secret place. The view out the windows was really something. We'll never look up at those little windows the same way again.

do you have any pics to post?

If I can figure out how to post pics I will. I'm on my iPhone right now so it may take a bit. I must say my DH doesn't get on my case for being on the DIS so much! He he

For the tour we met up at sleepy hollow and then we were brought up the little path for CMs to a side door of the castle. We then got into a secret door to a waiting area that had lots of Cinderella stuff including a case with THE glass slipper. Then it was onto a gold elevator up to the suite. Very cool!
Once inside the suite we were treated very well and were toured throughout the suite. It's really compact. Not a lot of extra space in there. But regal none the less.

Great memories.

Wow, how lucky ya'll were! That must of been amazing!!! ;)

bluenosemickey, cannot wait to see your pics!!! I bet that was the most amazing tour, what fun, and how incredibly special, share, share, share those pics with us please so we can live thru them!!!

I was there last February and Katie Holmes, Tom Cruise, and Suri were there at the time and Katie kept going in and out of the castle so I THINK they were staying there. Lucky things! I hope I can take a tour of it someday. I've seen pictures online and it looks beautiful.

Hi Everyone - Sorry to make you all jealous, but the suite is spectacular!
We won the stay in it a couple of years ago! Typical Disney...the room may have been the let down...if that could ever be a let down.

My daughter drank from a drinking fountain at DTD between 12 and 12:20 one day and BOOM! All kinds of Disney fold materialized. Next thing you know, we were on our way to the Castle in the hot summer of August.

Don't have time to go into all the details, but here are the basics.
1 - They drove us behind the scenes to Magic Kingdom...had to go fast because we were in the lead car of the afternoon parade. We rode with Dasiy Duck! It was so cool!
2- We had our own personal CM take us to a few rides...no waiting...front of the line...every time.
3 - Off to the castle for inspection of our suite. Awesome...no words to describe. Here is a great tidbit. We got in and saw a miniature version of Cindy's ride (Pumpkin Carriage)! Turns out the Carriage was made of chocolate and filled with cold fruit. What a treat on a hot summer day.
We rested for about an hour and a half (Kids watched Bridge to Tarabithia on one TV, we watched the making of the Magic Kingdom on the other.
4 - Off for dinner in the castle...no charge! When we went downstairs, the line stopped and Cinderella came and got us...specifically my daughter! The line waited about 10 minutes for us to have our time with her! Pictures and the works!
5 - The dinner show went off just great especially when Fairy God Mother stopped the show to let everyone know my daughter had won the suite!
6 - After dinner, we did a few more rides, then went to a special viewing area for the night parade. No crowd and benches. It was awesome.
7 - It was night so we had fireworks. CM took us to special viewing area upfront and we saw it all!
8 - Since we were "inconvenienced" by the whole thing, we got to go to any ride in the park and go to the front of the line! We got lucky and the park was open late that night! Space Mountain - 3x, Big Thunder - 2x, Splash Mountain - just once, but the picture was priceless (no really, it was free). Pirates was next. By this time we were to tired and went to sleep in the Castle!
9 - Breakfast with Pooh in the morning (no charge) and then we were done.

It was awesome. I'm a runner and they would have let me run the park in the morning if I had my gear! Almost brought it, but didn't think they would.

It was AWESOME!

Wow, talk about the Disney Magic and getting a little bit (or ALOT in your case) of pixie dust! That is so so awesome!
