I'm just a princess looking for her prince!

My friend from law school thinks that all the good men are hovering in a pod above Earth. Every now and then one escapes and you have to be fast enough to catch them.

She sold all my female friends on this idea and they called DH a "Pod Man". They threatened to kill me and then comfort him. :earseek:

I'd be a little leery of men who just knock on your door and demand that you marry them. :goodvibes

My suggestion is to kiss every frog ~ the odds that one will be a prince is greater than giving up.

No good single guys in Connecticut, not that I'm looking

We have one guy at work that is single and his is the most cocky guy I have ever met. He is also very sneaky. He was listening to a person's conversation and then went to the their manager and told the manager that instead of doing her job, she was ________________. The manager told me this (manager isn't that bright either).

I don't know what this guy learned growing up or what he learned in college, but integrity was not one of them.

I think maturity in men starts at 50.

Melinda - I am with ya on that (here in maine we don't have many either!)

I know. My ex-husband lives in Maine. :rotfl: :rotfl:

ETA: Hey, I just realized that the majority of us are from New England! I think I'm on to something here. :scratchin

I am very confused. :confused3

I was under the impression that all men are PIGS, not frogs. :rotfl2:

It's been over 20 years since I've been single and I can't say that I miss those days one bit. Good luck and good hunting.

Maybe all of you princesses need to consider migrating south....I'm perpetually looking!

Jungle Josh

Does that mean I'm in the wrong part of the south? ;)

Hi,

I am in New Jersey and wasn't looking either when I found my present girlfriend. In fact I was in what I call "shutdown mode", because I kept finding Miss Left instead of Miss Right.

I was wondering the same thing! I've always considered Tx southern :confused3

Checking in from New England to join the rest of you ... yeah, yeah, plenty of frogs here on Cape Cod too. Stopped looking five years ago and still no one has knocked down my door looking for me.

Don't know about the rest of you but every single guy around here is under 30 and looking for a girl under 20 or over 60 and looking for a girl under 20 :rotfl2:

Personally, I'd "settle" for a frog or prince if he were somewhere between 30 and 60, looking for someone else between 30 and 60, doesn't mind kids, has the inclination to hold down a job for months at a time, and loves to travel, especially anywhere South, and WDW. If I were to get real picky, would prefer that he have no more than two ex-wives, no huge debts, lack of arrogance...

So, here's to the others who have stopped looking :drinking1 May our princes be right around the corner.

Hey, I have a date! Here's to him not being a frog (that I know of anyway)! :drinking1

I have no idea when we're going out though. But at least I was asked. ;)

Congrats. Hope you have an awesome time.

Youv'e got problems with Frogs and my son has problems finding a girl that doesn't treat him like ****. He thinks he will never find any one. I keep telling him there is a girl out there somewhere for him. At 22 he has time. :flower:

At least your not like my mom! She's become the "when are you getting married?" "When will I get a grandchild?" Mom.

Hope he finds his princess soon
