I'm in the 60 day window, why is the dining window only giving me the first day? Did they stop allowing the first day plus 10 days?

I am signed into MDE, they have my resort reserv, I can't figure out why I can't do more than that first day?

I think it’s based on your reservation length. It’s no longer just plus 10.

I hate the "new" set up. We have a 7-day stay, but we have a 2-night cash reservation (studio at Kidani), 2 nights at Jambo (value studio) and then 3 nights in a 1 BR at Jambo. It stinks because I have to go online on 3 different days to try and get ADR's for the week...even though we are never leaving the property. What's worse is that I will be at work all three of those days, meaning that I will probably not be able to get online at the 6am mark. I work on an ambulance and my shift starts at 0530 so I will have to keep my fingers crossed that I can do everything I need to do in the app...and quickly! I don't understand why they can't "link" a continuous stay for ADR purposes. I mean, I *do* understand why they can't.....it's Disney IT:headache:

thank you, but if its no longer 10 days, what exactly is the length? I'm confused why its only giving me one day of a 7 day stay?

Its length of a reservation, but I believe maxes out at 10 days. In your case, if you have a 7 day trip already linked to MDE and you were logged in, it should have let you book the entire 7 days.

But, if a reservation is shorter or people have split stays, then its tied to that.

We experienced a similar problem a few weeks ago. I wish I had a formula for you to follow, but what seemed to help was to go into a specific restaurant, check availability, then come back into the main menu for the list. That often "opened" up the rest of our days. We had to repeatedly keep clicking around. There is definitely (another) glitch. One of these days, Disney will stop testing its upgrades in production.

Hasn't it always been that for a DVC reservation the online system didn't allow booking for the length of stay (up to 10 days) for dining reservations and you needed to call MS to book the additional days once your window opened up? That's been my experience in the past.

Not sure where you are from but I had the same problem last Christmas and Disney couldn’t help me. A kind poster told me to change the language option from Canada English to United States English and that solved everything, but five days of advance reservations (60 plus 10) would not work until corrected

We used to be able to call MS to do ADRs for the entire trip if we had a split stay. That's no longer true.

However, I have always been able to do 60 + length of stay online for past trips. Hoping that is still the case, but I see that some have had trouble.

Our stays are always for at least 10 days & we’ve been able to book for the first 10 days when the booking window opened. I do recall once we had a split stay & I called to get the days after the split booked, which I don’t think they allow anymore.

Bingo! Thank you! Thats exactly what I tried this morning, and it worked, all of my dates showed up that way. So if someone has the same problem, DON"T put your dates at the top of the DME dining page. Just go right to the restaurant list and plug in your specific date there, and your entire length of stay will be there.

They really need to fix this glitch. I had the same issue when trying to make reservations for my May trip. I called multiple people and they all acted like I just didn’t understand how to make a dining reservation. I sent Disney an upset email about it as I was never able to get topolinos breakfast for my son despite being up at 5am to make the reservations. Clearly no one cares as I never got a reply and they still haven’t fixed the issue.

So how does the "length of stay" actually work? For instance, if I have a 6-night stay, when I am 60 days out from check-in, will I only get those 6 days, or do I also get the check-out day, which would be a 7th day? We have a late flight on departure day, so getting an ADR for lunch would be nice on departure day.

You also get checkout day. It’s day 60 from checkin plus up to 10 more days.
