I have a boyfriend right now, and last night I kind of sang a little on the phone to him.....but I don't think he'll say that kind of stuff about me right now because, I have strep-throat and a stuffy nose....so, yeah, I probably sounded like Donald Duck last night......

Aw, that's sooo sweet! This girl sounds like she can really sing! I have a bunch of little crushes on people, nothing huge. I love Ewan McGregor (mostly for his roles in Star Wars and Moulin Rouge, he's an awesome actor but he's been in movies I don't like). I love Dustin Kensrue (lead singer for Thrice) too. LOVE his voice!

Trust me honey, guys might go for the girls who look better right now....but just give them time. Soon, guys will mature and go for you because of your personality, not specifically your looks. Just give it time. Just try and be comfortable with who you are and when the right guy comes along, he'll like/love you for who you are and not because of who your friends are and not because you tried to be someone you're not.

Oh, and about the geek/nerd thing, Just think of it this way:

If cool people have to pick on and criticize geeks and nerds just to be funny and make themselves feel better...who's really the geek/nerd in that situation?

HAHA that is true. People are just so darn mean it is hard! THey criticize anything that they don't like about me. Urgh, and honestly I am not that ugly! (my face tha is) I have really pretty eyes!!! I am complimented on them by someone everytime i go to the mall! I dont have bad acne like some people do either, but it might be my lips also! My lips are chapped and cracked, they are so dead! Like i know it is gross but I have to peel of some of my dead skin from my lip sometimes, weird i know.

I always put moisturizing chap stick on every night! *Warning: this is going to sound like a strange commercial* It makes my lips really smooth and well, moisturized.

Yeah, I know whatcha mean. My lips do that sometimes in dry weather and, I used to be on medicine because, I used to have horrible acne, and I had to take medicine from my dermatologist,...It made my lips do that for like, 2 years.

If people criticize you again, just shrug it off. Most of the time, if they see that their remarks don't affect you, they lose the fun of it and stop. Their probably the kind of people that always see the faults in things and not how truly beautiful things are. In fact, if you think about it, It's actually quite sad; They will probably go through life only seeing faults, not beauty.

Sometimes, I have people talk about me behind my back, or I have friends that, if you don't look a certain way they'll just say it in front of a crowd but, you know what? I believe in myself and no-matter how bad I may look sometimes, I know that I am a beautiful on the inside and that's what really matters. By the way, you've posted on these boards for quite some time now, and from what I have gathered from your posts is that you are a nice, friendly, caring, thoughtful person and, I bet you have a beautiful soul.

And if you are sick and tired of being criticized like I am sometimes, and you just can't seem to shrug it off, come right back and them and let them know that you are not a person to be messed with.
If they say stuff about your size, say hey you know what, I may be tiny, but you're just ugly and I can gain weight. (no offense to anyone here on the boards and no, I've never said these things to people )

Things could always be a lot worse...We could look like this guy...umm....girl....ummm.....person?
