I'm home from my Pirate's Weekend

I watched the Red Carpet Premiere on Saturday.

I rode Pirates of the Caribbean at 11:00 am this moring!!! I was in the first group of 100 regular folks to ride.

I ate lunch at the new and improved Cafe Orleans.

As soon as I can pry the camera out of my DD's hands, I will post pictures and give a detailed review.

It was a rowdy, swashbuckling good time Mateys.

What a cool way to end the weekend!

I was watching some show (maybe the E Red Carpet show?), and the two "Poppit" pirates were on the ride and showed the Davey Jones effect (won't say more) -- what an excellent effect! They were impressed. Also, they enjoyed seeing "Jack Sparrow." They also showed Johnny Depp checking out Jack Sparrow on the attraction.

I was in the first family to ride the Pirates of the Caribbean yesterday (6/26) for the official opening to the public. Do you happen to know where I can find any of the video footage? There were lots of press.

Waiting for photos and trip report of how you liked the event, how long you stood in line to get a view of the stars, what they did with all the people once the movie started (after they seated the VIPS did they allow the rest of you to 'watch' the movie or were you ushered out?

I went too for my birthday.....it was the most amazing trip of my life. I was first in line so I got to open the park which I have never done before! I also got Johnnys, Orlandos, and many of the other stars autographs. And Orlando even wished me a happy birthday! Def worth the wait
