I'm home and I'm so sad.....

Awwww, I hate the post-WDW blues! That's why I'm either at WDW or planning a WDW trip! :) Start planning, baby!

We did a surprise trip for our daughters' birthdays this past June. Their bdays are all close together - May 27, June 4 and June 18. When I approached my DH, I thought for sure he would say no, but I said, "Would it be great if we could take the kids in June for their birthdays and not tell them until the morning we're leaving?" He really liked the idea and said, "Yeah! Book it!" And off we went!

Hope you get to plan your next trip very soon! Feel better!

Give the man some time for his blisters to recover, then in a couple of months, "casually" take out the Disney photo album or scrapbook and begin thumbing through with him. Like childbirth, he'll only remember the fun times, not the sore feet, and may say yes to a trip down the line.
My DH doesn't love Disney, the crowds, pace, etc, turn him off, but he'll go with the assurances of a more leisurely trip, too.

Even if you think you won't be going back again next year, plan for it anyway to help chase away the blues. Miracles do happen! I remember my husband saying years ago he was tired of Disney. Will give you one guess as to who suggested WDW when our next vacation came up. Hang in there.

Sending pixie dust your way. :wizard:

Plan a trip to California! You can easily work Disneyland into that.

Hey, it worked well for us. DH was even enthusiastic to go on that trip.

I SOOO feel your pain. We just came home on Saturday from a 2-week trip & I'm completely miserable. My DH is just as big a disney nut as I am, thankfully, but my job doesn't schedule vacations until February or March & I'm low on the seniority list. So, planning the next vacation in advance is nearly impossible. I don't know how I'll survive waiting another whole year - UGH!! I MISS MICKEY!!

We always book another trip right away- gives us another full year of planning and anticipation- gotta love that DISNEY BUZZ :cool1:

Alright, alright, after our last holiday trip I compromised, so we stayed OFFSITE at a GOLF resort (3 days at ChampionsGate, after our CRUISE), and the girls and I rode the SHUTTLE back and forth! Heavens, the sacrifices we make... ;)

Alright - even though I have not yet started PLANNING our next Disney vacation, I at least picked out our dates!!! I made a new ticker, see??? After creating the ticker, I see that we have less than 12 months to go!!!! This is so exciting!!!

Is the new Birnbaum's 2006 out yet? Maybe I'll go and buy that and start reading and dreaming!!!
