Hey everyone, just a mini update. Got into Chessy at 12ish today, it's been absolutely heaving all day! Knew it was going to be busy as its a weekend but wasn't quite prepared for the wall to wall people, especially as my previous Disney experience is WDW in August/September! Having a lovely day so far though, managed to get FPs for Space Mountain at half 9 so we've gone back to the hotel (Radisson) for a quick rest before fireworks.

If anyone has any questions ask away :)

oh my.... did u stop for dreams?? i have never seen the park so busy!!!

we struggled on our day trip as by bout 12 the crowds were heaving and queues were way over the hr wait, crush we saw at 2hrs, and rnr was nr to 2hrs too..... we really did struggle and even tho we got an ok spot for dreams, latecomers still squashed in front of us (not good is ur 5'4 and they r over 6'!)

hope u have a good trip and crowds r better today!!

Was over there today to 3pmish- when we went into the park after coffee in the Village all the FP times we looked at were 2h45 later and 70-75 minutes showing as walk on :crazy2:

Was like that at PP, Buzz, BTM. Wall to wall people but the weather was good, sunny and not cold (23°)

Hope you are having fun and tomorrow it will be a lot calmer :goodvibes

must admit weather was rather nice yesterday!

really wasnt expecting such busyness.... and it wasnt british folk.... was there sum special offer on, or sumthin?? seemed more older kids (late teens) that were there......

Last weekend for the 20€ ticket offer for AP holders and friends ;) did you use it in the end ? plus it's normal weekends in September as people use up their 2nd visit on the 2 visits for the price of 1 tickets that were on sale :goodvibes

ahhhhh that cud explain it - shall avoid weekends in september next time lol was so busy after dreams we got a tour of backstage of main street to get out!!

and yes - thanks to ur wonderful links - we did get the €20 tickets!

am so tired, but not tired enuf to go to bed yet... its gonna take days to catch up on no sleep!

Yep saw Dreams yesterday and tonight! Was crazy last night, still loved the show and thought it was amazing, especially the Tangled bit!

We did much better today as we had a whole day so the only thing we haven't managed to get on is Crush's Coaster, hoping we'll manage that one tomorrow :)

Loving the fact that my boyfriend seems to be turning more an more Disney on me and already wants to come back a few more times before we go to Florida next September - successful!!

Just thought I'd add a few final thoughts now that I'm back and have access to a real laptop!

We had a really good weekend in the end, Monday was soo much better than the weekend. We managed to do ToT 5 times, RnR twice and everything else in the Studios once with the exception of the Studio Tour. Really loved Crush's Coaster although my boyfriend wasn't thrilled with the backwards aspect! I also really enjoyed RC Racer, just wish it could've been a bit longer.

Our favourite rides were BTMR and ToT, although ToT in Florida is still better in my opinion because of the randomised dropping, and the extended pre show bit. However I would say that almost all of the rides that are the same in both parks I preferred the French versions, especially BTMR. It was nice to be able to ride Snow White again too.

I loved our hotel too! We get discounted rates through work so it's 80 euros a night with breakfast. The rooms were big, the beds were comfy and the buses were great. They're every half an hour between the resort and the park until an hour and a half after park closing, but there are public buses that run from 5am-1am - the stop is about 10 minutes away and quite a nice walk. It seems they're getting rid of the discount rates soon though :(

We got the Fantasy annual passes which were great for EMH but it would be better if they opened a few more rides. When we remembered to use it, the discounts on food were a nice extra too. It's good having them though as it gives us an excuse to go back ;)
