Maybe I'm just lucky but I already had several ADR's booked and had to cancel some as friends camping at Ft. Wildnerness can't get free dining. I was able to rebook for just my family at basically all the restaurants I asked for and at whatever time I requested. Not what I expected with free dining out?

We were considering changing out time at Cindrellas and was offered many different times I could change too?

I too called to add an adr to my schedule without any problems I added the coral reef

Me too - I panicked and planned out all of my TS meals so I could call in the ADR's, thinking that it might be getting difficult to book them. When I was asked what time I would like, I was vague and said "any available time between 5:30 and 7:30". He said "just pick what time you want, about every time is still available". So, I was able to pick the time I wanted for all 7 restaurants.

But, call soon. I bet the advertising of this promotion will kick in this weekend, so the ADR's might start getting harder to make if you wait more than a few weeks or so.

I, too, had no problems. I've called to change a few, and have really gotten everything I expected. Due to free dining, we're going to be able to try a list of new places.

Although I am expecting the parks to be super-busy now, which is a bit of a disappointment.

I think you won't have much of a problem getting into most restaurants, just the really high-demand ones, such as CRT (although that seems easier to get, now that it's 2TS credits), dinner shows, Fantasmic packages, restaurants with Fireworks views, and character meals. It's not a busy time of year, which is why they're offering the free dining. I'd still book most ADRs several weeks before my trip, though, just to be on the safe side.

I was able to get everything and at all the times I wanted...we are doing stuff inside parks as my husband doesn't like to do a lot of running around, but still I was thrilled. Last year in Dec. I had to take what I could get and I called at day 90 +5 (we stayed on property) so I was surprised it was that difficult. I expected the same type of thing with free dining. :goodvibes

WDW in September is a ghost town. I have never had trouble getting into all but the most popular restaurants without ADRs in September.

The free dining plan will make getting ADRs harder than usual, but it's all relative; it's usually easy to get any time you want all day in September, so the free dining plan might make it just a little harder, but you will still have way more choices in September than in the summer months.

All you people are so lucky! I called for ADRs on 4/3 for my trip September 15-21. I had trouble getting Coral Reef on either of 2 nights I asked about and couldn't get the time I wanted at California Grill (within an hour, though). Chefs de France had plenty of availability, so I'd say Coral Reef was my only real problem. I guess it does depend on the resturaunt.

I booked CM today for 9/3 and had no problem. We won't be doing CRT this year due to the 2 credits. :furious: I haven't made the rest of ours yet but I will do that later this week.
