I'm Going To See Cher!

So.....I mentioned to my hubby after seeing her commerical on TV that I'd love to see Cher's concert (she's coming to Maine in April), but couldn't justify spending the $75 to see her even though this is her fairwell performance.

Fast forward two days...my Mom calls me this morning to say she's saw the ad in the paper for the concert and that she just has to go. (Who knew my Mom was such Cher fan....not me!) She tells me tickets go on sale Saturday at 10 and then proceeds to give me her CC# and wish me a Merry Christmas!

Long story short: I find a pre-sale at cc.com that just happens to start at 10am THIS MORNING! Badda-bing, Badda-boom - I've got 4 tickets to see Cher!!!!

WOO-HOO! I've got the coolest Mom!!!

I've never seen Cher in concert before but I have met her. Seems like a pretty cool woman!

I just went to this concert in Dallas a few weeks ago! She was awesome! Cindy Lauper opened for her and she was amazing as well!

Great Show! She plays nearly every song that you can think of and the show has a Cirque du Soleil feeling to it! You get your bang for your buck there! Although I didnt' see ANYONE there my age, it was better because everyone was really respectable to each other and were all there to just enjoy the music. Sad to say, but it's hard to go to a concert now and get that.

My sister and I are going with my folks....leaving the husbands and kids at home! Should be a hoot!
