I'm going to need to get more rechargeable batteries

I posted a few days ago about problems with my computer mouse. Turns out that both the wired one and DD's wireless quit working at the same time. I went to Best Buy to get a new one and just about all of the them were wireless. It's working great but no one (me included) has gotten into the habit of turning the darn thing off when they're done using it.

I came downstairs this morning and the darn thing had been on all night!

I personally don't like wireless mice... I just don't see much real advantage and there's also the problem with the corollary to Murphy's Law: "The batteries in such devices tend to die at the most inconvenient times."

Wired are out there... sometimes you just have to look. I personally use a $20 Microsoft wired mouse. No reason to spend much more money then that.

I've had a wireless keyboard and a wireless mouse for about 3 years. I never turn them off, and I think I've replaced the batteries in the mouse a couple of times, never in the keyboard(that I remember anyway). I just buy regular batteries, they aren't rechargeable.
