I'm going to Disney World!

I am so thrilled I can hardly stand it, LOL! My wonderful dad had decided to pay for my husband and I to take a quick weekend trip to WDW in 9 days! We were able to get an AP rate at All Star Music, and everything just worked out perfectly!

I was telling my parents about how we thought that even though I am still job searching, if we managed our budget very tightly, we thought we could swing a very tightly budgeted quick weekend trip (we still have 2 weeks left on our AP's). I was thinking that my dad was going to say that we shouldn't go. Instead, he blew me away! He said that he has earned a little bit of extra money working some overtime, and that it is the exact amount I said that we were budgeting for our trip. He said that he couldn't think of a thing he would rather do with the money than make me happy. The thought of them doing that never even began to cross my mind. My parents are simply the most generous, selfless people I know. I already knew how very blessed I am to have parents like I do, so I guess my dad's generousity shouldn't have surprised me, but it still brings tears to my eyes! I am so thankful that the Lord gave me parents like he did!

So, DH and I will be at WDW May 15-17 at All Star Music! We are SO excited! :bounce:

Well, Elisabeth, I sure remember meeting mom and dad at your home a few years back, and yes, gracious they both are. Really seemed like down to earth, genuine people. And you sure did not fall far from the tree, as they say.

I was hoping to get there that weekend too, but had a tough time getting the air lined up on short notice, so I have to wait till next month. Enjoy the Epcot F&GS, it's beautiful!!!!! :flower2:
