I was asked a few months ago by a friend if I'd be willing to go to DW with them for a convention in March and help watch their kids. They have a girl, Ellie, who will be 23 months, and a new baby, Sam, who will be three months, when they go. Well, I hadn't heard anything for awhile, so figured it was canceled. Well, she just called me and said they are going and want me to go. They will pay my airfare, room, park entrance, food, etc. I only have to be available different times in the day to watch the kids. I love their kids, so that's not a problem. They may not take Ellie, so I'd just be watching Sam while they are at dinners and lunches. I told them I'd love to have Ellie there. They were concerned about me with both kids alone, but I said we'd do fine. It's their choice, so we'll see. Even if I only get to one or two parks, it's more than I thought I'd get this year. Our next scheduled trip is May 2005 for our 25th anniversary because our daughter, Sarah, is using our DVC points for her honeymoon this May.
