I'm Going Parasailing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am soooooooooo excited! My DH told me I could have one wish in WDW for my birthday so we're all going parasailing on Bay Lake and will see the MK from 450 feet in the air! I cannot believe I'm doing something like this! It is going to be one of the highlights of this trip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YIPPEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the view is the most amazing, fabulous thing you can imagine!!!!!!!!!!
I did the parasailing twice, adn the first time I saw MK from up there, well, you can only imagine...wait...no...you WILL do more than imagine, you'll see for yourself!!!!!!!!!
have a very very magical time at WDW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've thought about doing that but have always been too chicken. Maybe on our next trip we'll do. I know it's included this time but I don't think I'm brave enough now. I've done the wakeboarding trip but only went on the tube, my brother did the wakeboarding. I love watching the parasailers from the watermice. What day are you doing it.

Can you believe it's almost time to leave!?!!??!!! It will be sunday morning before we know it.

I think i read it's anywhere b/w 8-12 minutes depending on what you pay for.

I'm so excited for you!!!! I've been trying to talk my 13 y.o. DS into going in the next couple weeks. I think it's working. Does anyone know if this is a "primo" thing to do - should I try to make a reservation before we get there or just ask at front desk when checking in?

Here's a hint - take your camera up with you. Once you're flying, you'll feel so peaceful and safe that you won't need to hang on for dear life. It's a great place to take pix.

Hi Guys!! We are going in September. While my DD is enjoying the Grand Adventures in Cooking (and I am getting a pedicure!!), my mother (61 years old) and my husband are going parasailing!! I gave my mother a Birnbaums guidebook and said to let me know anything special she wants to do and I will set it up with the Concierge. She calls me and says she wants to parasail!! I told her that Richie (my DH) would go with her. (No way...not me!!) Well at first he said yes, but now he is having second thoughts!! The funny thing is, my DH is a Firefighter who runs into burning buildings, climbs up these incredible ladders and practices water rescues ...but this scares him!! Go Figure!!!

A question...will the Parasailing Company video tape the flight or will they allow video cameras? Thanks!!

DH and I are going on 8.29!!! I made a reservation on the Sammy Duval (sp?) web site. www.wdwig.com has their number and the web site address. We are doing a tandum flight.

GRAYWIFE, you should be able to sit in the boat and video tape your Mom flying. Just ask when you go. The guys on the boat are a lot more lenient than the people who make your reservations. They let my DS ride in the boat, even though he wasn't flying.

My Husband will be videotaping for me...I wasn't sure if they would allow us to tape. I will be over at the GF, I might try to catch a glimpse from the beach, but I don't think I could watch her do it up close!!!
