I'm getting my hair cut in one hour! UPDATE!

I have printed out a bunch of pictures of Halle Berry to take with me (her short "do" from the 2002 Oscars). My hair is kind of short now, but it's got that 80's poof thing going.

I think I can get the Halle Berry hair - now if only I could get the face and body to go with it

Oops. I just realized that somehow the update didn't go thru.

Well, I should have known better right off when I called and my regular hairdresser was on vacation so I booked with an unknown quantity.

She said she didn't know who Halle Berry is. WHAT????

I gave her the pictures and, well, I almost took the scissors out of her hand and cut it myself. She was way too busy yakking with the other girl about her no-good, deadbeat ex-husband who had the kids for the weekend.

AND I was her last customer before her dinner break and her friend was waiting to take her out to eat, so she just kind of hacked away in a big hurry.

I was almost in tears by the time I left. It really doesn't look THAT bad, except for one side is way shorter than the other. My DH did some trimming of some straggles that were hanging....

It's a good thing my hair grows super super fast. AND that I work with a bunch of guys who could care less about straggles.

Dan, I don't know how to post pictures and I sure don't want to "break" the disboards.

No, no, no....you need to go back and make this person give you a decent haircut. You shouldn't pay her and then go home and try to repair the damage yourself!

I would call the salon. Find the manager and tell her you want a refund and a trim to even up your hair. Good Grief this person should not be doing this for a living if they can't do both sides of the head the same way! Of course, I once MADE a salon take the color off my head before the girl said it was ready (Luck I did otherwise I think it would have been WHITE instead of blonde.)

I'm with Carol, I wouldn't be paying for a haircut like that. The last time I had a terrible cut, I did go back and they refunded my previous hair cut and then they fixed my hair as much as possible. It was an awful cut and I was just so glad that my hair does grow fast. Good luck to you!!
