My appointment is next Wednesday at 1. I know what I want done but I can't figure out where. Any suggestions?

I don't have any suggestions, just please give it a lot of thought.

I'm 41 yrs old now and a few times in my life had considered getting a tatoo and now I am SOO glad I never got one. My opinions have changed over the years, obviously, and I'm glad I didn't get something as permanent as a tatoo.

Becki, Wait

a p/m is waiting for you.

My tattoo is on my back - just above my waist on the right.
I got it there because I didn't have to remove clothes to get it, didn't have to remove them to show people. It's slightly visible, but my Mother wouldn't find out I had it.

my tatoo is down on the right side of my hip....it is only visible if I show it to people. I love it and plan to get another one.
A tattoo is a personal choice. My only advice is to get something that speaks about you...your personality....
so many times people just get something on a whim....

Good luck!

Kamy

I want to get it someplace that it will be hidden unless I want to show someone and someplace where it won't hurt quite so much to get it.

It is a very personal thing to do, AND remember its there FOREVER! When I was 16 I wanted a Mickey and Minnie tatoo....well when I turned 28 I still wanted it so I got it, but that was after years and years of wanting it. Its on my arm and if I wear a sleeveless shirt you can see it. I have never regretted it!! I also have Tinkerbell with her want sprinkling Pixie Dust around my belly button, again never regretted it! My last one is on my lower back and is tribal. It has beas and a butterfly with the black tribal lines. Its simply gorgeous!! I did tell my DH that once I get all this weight off that tatoo will probably reach around my waist....LOL! I can tell you that the one on my lower back hurt far worse than the other two.

When did you decide this? If its just a spur of the moment thing I would highly recommend you not do it. Its something that really needs to be thought through because its forever. For instance these men with ""BERTHA"" on their arm when Bertha has been out of their life for 15 years!! I'm not telling you what to do just saying this is FOREVER without laser surgery which I've heard is VERY VERY PAINFUL!!!

How long have you wanted a tattoo?

Personally, since a tattoo is permanant, if this is something you haven't wanted for 2 years, I wouldn't get it yet. Tattoo parlors will still be there in 2 years, but you may not still want the tattoo in 2 years. If it's something you honestly have wanted for years, then good luck. :)

I've wanted this particular tattoo for a year, but I've wanted to get a tattoo since I was in high school.

I'm not going to get a battleship, silly.

What are you going to get if you don't mind me being nosy. I would love a Beauty and the Beast but I haven't thought about it long enough yet.

I say picture yourself with that same tatoo at 65. If you think it'll still be cute then - go for it.;)

JTB - You crack me up:teeth:

I told her since she wanted to know SO badly. LOL
