I'm getting a little stressed!!!

The kids at school are wacky. I still have shopping to do. We get out of school on Thursday, which is great, but my sister is coming down on the train that night, so I'll have to pick her up, and THEN she says she wants/needs to go to the MALL on Friday. I don't know whether to or . The mall on December 23rd? Oh, and then, since she's coming on the train, she expects me to drive her down to our parents house when were done, which is a good 45 minute drive. Then she'll stay there over night, but I'll be coming back! Somehow I feel used.

Don't you just love the holidays? I have too much to do.

Could your sister spend Thurs. night at your place so that the two of you could get an early start for shopping on Friday? Alternatively, you could tell her that you aren't available to take her shopping on Friday.

It sounds like she's taking some advantage if you have to take her to your parents' home and then get up the next morning to drive to your parents' home again to take your sister shopping. If she spends Thurs. night at your place or you don't take her to the mall on Friday, you'll save 1.5 hours of driving (one round trip to/from your parents' home). Can your sister get Mom or Dad to take her to the mall on Friday or borrow their car to go?

Oh, she is staying with me on Thursday...guess I wasn't real clear. I'm picking her up at the train station in my town on Thursday, she's staying over on Thursday, we go shopping Friday, then down to the parents on Friday evening...or maybe I'll put her on the commuter train to cut down a little on my driving.

I will stop complaining now...I have a lot to be happy about, that I have a sister who will come visit, school's almost out, I'm healthy...just feeling a little overwhelmed at times.

My sister is coming for the holidays on Thursday, too but I got out of school today and have a whole day to rest before she and I hit the stores. But I know how you feel about being stressed.
