I'm engaged!!

Just wanted to share with everyone that we got engaged last Monday. I haven't had a chance to post since we're in limbo right now with our move to South Carolina. We are planning on a WDW wedding, and I can't wait to read up on all there is to know about having a magical wedding at WDW.

I've been married over 8 years now, but never had a wedding. My prince charming, who I am still madly in love with BTW, promised our wedding will be at WDW one day.

Until then, living vicariously through other "soon to be WDW brides" such as you!!

We're probably going to end up having a long engagement too. I teach (as does most of my family,) so I need to have the wedding at a time when I can take at least a week and a half off to get to WDW, have the wedding, and still go on a honeymoon. Next summer is pretty much out because my sister is getting married in April and I think my mom's head would explode with two that close together So we may have to wait until summer of 2007

SRUAlmn - I know how you feel with the "long time coming". My Fiance and I were dating for 5 years before we got engaged in July 04. People wouldn't stop hounding us and asking us when. Now we are having a long engagement as well - 2 years! So in total its been 7 years coming!! Good Luck

ETA: We'll be together 3 years in a couple of weeks. My brother actually called me while we were in vegas and said I needed to sit my boyfriend down and tell him I already booked a WDW wedding on whatever date and that he just needs to show up. So, I know all about the hounding.
