I'm down to the wire with my costumes....

The final count was 78 costumes total for the school musical in April. The first dress rehearsal is next Wednesday, so I'm supposed to have them all finished by then I have about 19 left to do, plus some finishing touches on a few of the others. I told the music director that next year's show has to be based on my closet- although it's cute hearing my kindergarteners call Mesopotamia "Mr. Potato Head"

I gave some assistance with the costuming for the ballet company my child is a member. I never realized how much time is involved in those tutus! It all has to be done by hand!
