Ah man I was so close with the Yacht Club. The Boardwalk Inn does look really nice I just struggle with the Clown Pool. I've always hated clowns and that thing just freaks me out!
You actually got my resort right! I really wanted to stay in the Boardwalk area but I just could not justify in my mind the cost of the Deluxe even with the discount. I was looking at the Beach Club for a while but there were no regular rooms left when I booked. I might have gone with it if there was a regular room left but probably not, I can be cheap sometimes.
Oh, and thanks to your TR and a few others, I went with a Royal Room. I'm really excited! I've got a request into my boss so if she says ok, I'll need to start working on DH.
Man you got up early. I was just coming on here to put in my guess(GF was what I was going to say since you can walk to the Poly and I know you wanted to stay there) But the BW will be so nice since it is so close to Epcot. I cant wait to hear all about it. Not to mention I am super excited to hear and see pictures of AOA LM rooms(that is what you booked right?) We kind of share that love for Ariel
Ahhhh I LOVE BW!! I'll be there in May too! Ha ha! Actually BWV but the same. I couldn't not stay there again after our Dec. trip.
Great job with the connection between AoA and BWI. I had to follow along closely but I get it! Glad to know that you'll be enjoying that resort as well. You may not want to venture away from the resort to the parks since it is so lovely.
To be completely honest, I pondered which resort could be your second one and almost didn't say anything bc I thought boardwalk might be wrong.... glad I guessed
So excited for you!!!!!!
Plus, glad my prego brain remembered how you talked about wanting to stay there LoL
Great resort choices! I think you are really going to enjoy your stays.
I toured AoA, and it is such a cool resort. The music along the walkways from the food court to the LM section is pretty awesome; it will make those treks to and from the bus stop much more enjoyable.
And to stay so close to Epcot....ahhhh. Sounds divine.
Hello!!
The Boardwalk is such a beautiful resort....you will love it! We stayed there in 2001..and we are definitely due for a return stay!!!
What a fantastic trip this will be!!!
Nice pictures. The river walk between POR and POFQ is probably one of the most peaceful spots on all of Disney property. We enjoy eating at Riverside Mill, walking down to POFQ, and catching the boat to DTD.
<------ THAT is how I feel right now with your response to that woman. My God that is awesome!!! I understand Disney is all about service, and guests expect a certain level of service, but seriously, TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOURSELF! Sorry, but I get so agitated by people who feel entitled and think everything should be perfect and and when it's not to crap all over the nearest CM. Some point down the line I will be sharing a truly shocking story on my TR and you will definitely feel my venom. OK, rant over, lol. But GOOD ON YOU Marissa!
OK, I'm hauling it out again in response to you trading spots so the dad and son could ride together.
Haha, I think I used the same brick wall you did for my Starring Rolls deliciousness. Oh, and you totally should have gone off on that CM for not letting you sit at the Derby.
ahhhhhh Art of Animation!!!!! I LOVE that place! We stayed there in September. This time I'll be across the way at Pop but I'm pretty sure I'll be venturing over there at some point. I adore the theming. And the Boardwalk. So close to Epcot! I'd love to stay at an Epcot resort someday.
Star Wars Weekend... that's on my Disney Bucket List. Someday I want to make it down for that. Maybe next year! LOL
If you decide to brave ToT in May and you want a friend to ride it with, let me know. I'm alway up for a trip on my favorite elevator
Good for you for standing up for that CM! Nothing worse than an adult blaming someone else for their mistake. What a horrible lesson to teach her granddaughter!
The Star Wars character you didn't know is Boba Fett. He was the bounty hunter that chased down Hans Solo. I know that because he is my husbands favorite Star Wars character. He always likes the bad guys! I think Jim would be one of the ones to spend a fortune in the Darth Mall.
TSM! I cannot wait to ride it again in less than two weeks. I'm sad that I'll only get to ride it one time since we will be going to DHS only in the afternoons. My next solo trip (whenever that turns out to be) I will be riding it multiple times!
It's funny how certain rides bother some people and not others. I have had an awful time with RnRC lately but I'm perfectly fine with TOT. RnRC is just too rough for me and I end up feeling nauseous. Probably has to do with getting older.
