Like Schmeck wrote, there is no reduced price for people with disabilities at WDW.
There is a reduced price at SeaWorld that you might be eligible for. You can't buy reduced price tickets ahead of time and get a discount. The discount can only be gotten when you buy your tickets at SeaWorld. There is a link to some SeaWorld information in the disABILITIES FAQs thread near the top of this board.

Hi and to both DisBoards and disABILTIES!

I think you will find that Disney World is able to accomodate almost all disabilities, and allow the great majority of people with diusabilities to enjoy all the attractions. The accomodations are very good.

If you could let us know what some of your needs are (not necessarily your diagnoses) and your restrictions we can come up with a lot of useful suggestions. Some of the regulars on this forum run the course between dietary restictions up to requiring a power chair with addiitonal items.

Also, if you go to the disABILTIES FAQs, which is one of the stickey items in the index to this forum (or follow the link in my signature) you will get a lot of useful information.

Excuse me, but I would suggest that you try reading the American's With Disabilities Act.

Basically all that is required is that they provide, to the extent possible, equal access for people with disabilities as that which is provided to people without disabilities.

I'm afraid you have no grounds to sue Disney, as they are not breaking any laws. They are not required to provide any reduction in price for you or a carer / companion. In fact, Disney tend to go above and beyond what is legally required.

However, as CheshireFigment said first, we would be perfectly happy to suggest ways to help you enjoy your trip more and explain the accommodations Disney provides to help compensate for people's disabilities. They have always been extremely helpful and accommodating of my disabilities, and I've heard many, many similarly positive stories on this board. With a bit of planning, you'll probably find that you can have just as much fun as someone without a disability, so a price reduction won't be applicable!

What grounds would you be suing Disney on? How would they have violated your rights by not giving you a discount?

I would ask that you please learn a little more about the ADA before suing. You may find there is much to learn. Disney does an outstanding job for those of us with disabilities, and we would really prefer not to annoy Disney in any way. If Disney or any other company thinks that disabled people are trying to take advantage of their kindnesses, then they are less likely to offer those kindnesses in the future.

I love Disney because it is one of the few places I feel "normal." (whatever that is) I can do everything like the rest of my family, and I am not stuck sitting at the doors of shops because there is a step, or waiting in the front of the store because the aisles are too narrow (usually, anyway).... I love Disney for all they do, and I appreciate it. Please do not dismiss the kindness they give us, above and beyond what is legally necessary.

I am sure someone here can give you a link to the ADA and sites which explain what is required.
