Hey everyone!

My family and I are going to be heading down this Thursday night (:scared1:) and when I was planning in June I didn't have the Osborne Lights schedule. But, now that I see the schedule I realize that my ADR is much too early.

I have an ADR for Chef Mickey's December 15th at 6:40pm but like I said it's too early. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to trade ADRs with me for a later time? Or if you have an extra that you wont be using I would LOVE to have it.

If you don't want my Chef Mickey's but still want to trade, I have an ADR for everything from:

• Crystal Palace
• Le Cellier
• Boma
• Kona
• 1900 Park Fare
and more...

...all of which I would be willing to trade if someone had a Chef Mickey's late dinner for next Saturday.

Like I said I'm DESPERATE!

Thanks in advance,

Kurt

I'll bump for you, but you might want to mention how many your ADR is for.

Good idea! All the ADRs I have are for a party of four and the ADR I need is for a party of 4.

Hopefully something will become available through Disney Dining.

Thanks again DISers!

Why is it too early? What were your plans for that night after dinner? Can't you go to MGM then?

We just returned Wed. I had an ADR for Chef Mickey's that we had to cancel on the day we arrived so I called several times to try to reschedule for another night.

On Tues, our final day, I called again and I was told there was nothing available for that evening. We were at MK so I asked if we could just show up and ask if there were any openings. I was told, "we do not recommend walk ups," so just keep calling back. I think she repeated that to me like 5 times.

I didn't want to spend our last afternoon on the phone so we rode the monorail over around 7:30 and waited in line for 15 min while others checked in.
It looked pretty busy and the line was long so I thought that there was no way we were getting in. I asked at the desk and they told us they could seat us (we were a party of 4, also) but it would be a 45-50 min wait and they gave us a pager that works anywhere on the 4th floor.

I literally walked 15 feet to DH and DDs and DH tells me the pager is going off. I told him not to mess with me b/c I was cranky but it was going off and we were seated right then.

The restaurant never filled up, either, so as busy as it looked there were definately empty tables.

Anyway, the point to my LONG story is I don't know if walking up is an option for you but you may want to keep it in mind for a last resort type thing. Good luck! :cool1:

Megan4777, thanks for the tip about the walk ups. I'll probably end up doing that but it's always nice to have that piece of mind you have a reservation.

robinb, back in June, I didn't have the schedule for the Osborne lights show at MGM and since Saturday is our only night in the parks (it's a weekend trip with Friday being used for MVMCP) I wanted to make sure my family saw both the Epcot lights as well as the MGM lights. Hopefully we'll be able to work something out, but if not I'm hoping on a walk-up seating or maybe the Grand Floridian concierge will be able to help get a seating.

Thanks again for the posts!

Kurt
