I'm confused-Beach Club opening?

Does anyone know when the Beach Club might be opening? Now that I've heard reports that some hotels are closed thru most of 2021, I'm concerned. Right now, the buses that come to the BC bus stop are only picking up BCV guests, and I'm wondering how long that might be the case. I wonder how many buses pick up at Yacht Club, then are full, due to the current restrictions, so they don't even go to the BC. Might we be in for a long wait at the BC? Is it better to just walk over to the YC until BC opens and get the bus there? And back to my original question, when might that be?

No reopen date set yet for the Beach Club. The Yacht Club is currently scheduled to reopen on 8/24.

Additional question about the Beach Club. Another thread mentioned something about the Beach Club Resort going through a refurb and they mentioned something about the Marketplace getting moved. Does anyone know anything about that? Also, with Yacht Club opening does that also me Yachtsman Steakhouse and Crew's Cup? I tried to find this on the Disney site and all I see is that Yacht Club is opening, but nothing about the restaurants. Thank you!

BC being refurbed? It was done right around the same time as the villas there were - either just before or just after. And I know Disney doesn't like to refurb their hotels all THAT frequently. I

There is nothing about restaurants. But the hotel opening does not necessarily mean everything else opens.

long time podcast/live listeners, first time posters here - so hey howdy hey to everyone!

we just wanted to share that we operate a (non-hospitality or tourism) business and our recruiters have received multiple resumes over the last few weeks from members of both Management and Guest Experiences at Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resort who have all stated in one way or another that they are furloughed indefinitely and looking to transition out of the hospitality and tourism industry due to the current uncertainty of the times. personally, this is all very reminiscent of employees in the aviation industry transitioning post-911. we're concerned this means that the resort side of Beach Club has no intentions to open anytime soon. what are everyone's thoughts?

lastly, and most importantly, congratulations to everyone for hitting the major milestone of ONE MILLION DOLLARS raised for Give Kids the World you guys rock!

Can anyone report that the Yacht Club did, indeed, open? And has anyone noticed if the Market at Ale and Compass (or whatever their equivalent to BC Marketplace is called) has opened? I hope so! When I stay at BCV, even with BC Marketplace open, I'll often go over to Yacht Club's QS because I prefer their offerings.

Yes Yacht Club reopened on 8-24 and Ale and Compass reopened on 8-20.

YC did reopen, but BC has no planned date of resumption of operations. I don't know how long that goes, but, neither do the staffers on indefinite furlough, so naturally they're in market.
