Wow! We've been home a week today from our GREAT trip. It was hot, we were active and loved it all. I find myself at home and the weather has turned a little rainy this afternoon. We need the rain and the weather has been great but I find myself a little bored today. Not much to do that's interesting. I mean laundry and dishes don't really cut it.
I'm a little sad today and then realized I'm missing the hustle and bustle of the Disney trip. Some of the things I remember...
"Where are we going to day?" our friends would ask us.
"I have to try a Dole Whip".
"Is it Fantasmic tonight?"
"So, what did you think of the ToT? I asked my DD3. "Awesome, it goes super fast!"
"Look it's Tinkerbell, she's flying."
"Let's do that again."
:( So I'm just a little sad and missing the World. Our trip is over but the memories are great. Just wanted to connect with my DIS buddies to lessen the post trip withdrawl.
I put on my Mickey earrings. ::MickeyMo

Did you write a trip report? It's a great way to relive those memories. I like to read others reports when I really need a fix.

I feel your pain!!! :sad2: I've been home just over a week and feel so bad. People think I'm looney. They just don't get I guess?! I wish we had more time there like 360 days at WDW and 5 days home. :goodvibes
Glad you had a good time! :flower:

It happens to the best of us. I was home 6 months and then it hit me like a ton of bricks. Now I want to go back so bad I can't stand it!! One of the first things I did when we got back was make a picture slideshow set to Disney music. I burned it to a DVD and the kids and I watch it often...at least once a week. I LOVE looking at our pictures. I need to make a scrapbook. If I got my way (and some money to go along with it) we would go every year. I would spend 6 months planning and 6 months recooperating. Have fun looking at your pictures and find happiness in knowing you'll go back one day.

OMG I've been doing the same thing everyday. I made a scrapbook, DVD(my son did the music for it),etc... Maybe we were separated at birth? LOL LOL :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hey, they say everyone has a twin! I picked 207 of my favorite pics, ripped some songs from Disney's Greatest volume 2 and I got a 15 minute show...I LOVE watching it. My 2 year old knows Mickey, actaully she says "Gickey" :rotfl: And best of all it keeps the kids occupied long enough for me to unload and reload the dishwasher without any "help" or I can go pee without an audience...life with a toddler princess:

I know how you feel. People think I'm crazy when I tell them how much I love it there. It must be the memories you make everytime you make with your family, and just want to keep rekindling them by going again and again.

We got back a week ago yesterday and I have been incredibly blue! Now I am sitting here thinking, "oh two weeks ago at this time we were in the air on our way!" At least I know that in 4 months we'll be at Disneyland but I am still depressed!

Phew! I'm so glad I'm not the only one with Post Disney Depression! I'm driving my poor husband nuts with all my "Wish we were still there..." talk. We've been back a little over a week and I can't stop looking at the pictures. I think every other thought is about our WONDERFUL trip. Time to get over it and start planning the next one. :goodvibes

This June will be one year since we were at the World, and I STILL miss it as much as I did the week we returned! Our next trip won't be until 2007, so I have a long time to wait until I'm home. Start planning your next trip and keep coming to The Dis to get you through until then! Hang in there! princess:

We've been home for just a few days and I'm home sick for WDW! This was our best trip ever! DH and I have said we probably won't return for 3 years :earseek: . I'm sad.

We haven't been in over a YEAR and we still have a little more than a year and a half before we go again. I have been spoiled in recent years in that I have recently been every year. This long "break" from WDW is just unconstitutional :rotfl2: . Anyway, I always think about it, several times a day. isn't that pathetic? However, some days (like today), I really remember that magical feeling that you have while you are there.......and ohhhh......... I just hope that Jan. 2007 would hurry up and get here already!

We were there this past March. Every day at work at lunch time I get on The Dis to get my Disney fix. Then when I get home from work I get on the computer for a while. Buying whatever I can get Disney wise from Ebay sellers. My husband thinks I am nuts. Just can't wait until our next trip. He says spring 2007. I will do my best to make it 2006. :bounce:

I know how you feel about the Disney depression bug!

It has been a year since we were last there, and is exactly a year until our next trip! May 2006 better hurry up soon!

I get so sad just thinking about having to wait another whole year before we get to go again. It's all I talk about nowadays and drives my DH crazy! I feel like it will never get here!

By the way, ignore my counter....add one year to it! :sad2:

I was with the Mouse in September and am going again in June. I have been talking it up for the last 4 months to everyone that would listen. People think I am insane for going as many times as I have. I have to explain to the ones that haven't been about the magical feelings. Some people just don't get the magic. Where I work, I have people that are staying with me until I get back just so I can have coverage in my department. They all know how hard I work and how much I need a vacation so they are trying to help make sure I get it. I have been several places over my time but nothing compares to the fun and excitement I get when I go to Disney. Thank you Walt.

Hubby said if I can pay down the credit card we can go again in the Fall. :cool1:

I wonder if that means I need to get a job :confused3

he would actually like to go again. He didn't have as much fun on this past trip as he would have liked. We went with friends and although it was great he just wants to experience it again with just our family. Selfish like that is good :cheer2:

Hmmm now I need to plot a way to make some money...any ideas (legit only :rotfl:)
