I'm being picked on RE: planning

LOL - I put my sheets into a sleeve for protection - I was thinking lime green paper might be over the top

thanks

Not over the top at all, as long as you use a purple font color.
I think that would be attractive. ;)

Too funny. Just a few hours ago I was sitting with my DH in the living room when I decide to get up. I look at my DH and he is smiling. I ask him why he is smiling and he asks me were I was going. I said "why"? And he said, "to do the Disney stuff, right"? I start laughing. Yup, to do the disney stuff.

ha ha ha

My family feels the same. Now I am planning a Christmas trip for up to 25 people know. It started with 7. Everyone wants to go since they heard about how our Christmas trip went. I am glad I am not the only one with this condition.

Teri,

Cost go WAY down when you can arrange a group with 10 or more rooms. PM me or send an email to me at steve@haysllc.com and I'll let you know how I arranged a 7-night trip stayinfg in ASMo for 35 people for $555 per person including airfare from Colorado Springs, CO, 4+3 PHP, and room. (Not including food, though)

Guilty as charged. The only redemption of driving out of there this December, was knowing I could start planning for July!!!

Thanks all for letting me know i'm not alone

i am printing this and showing DH

i have tosay that he does tlerate it pretty well
just shakes his head and laughs
but he appreciates all the extras when we are there

:) My older sister is the one who got me started on the Dis Boards. After listening to her for the past 5 years plan a WDW vacation for 2004, I talked her into going with me last summer with the Fairytale Package plan. It was so much fun that when we got back I was the one to become a Dis Member and so now I too, am getting into the "spirit" of planning! The other six family members can't understand why we need to know now what they want to do since the trip isn't until August.
Anyway there are a lot of things worse than obsessing over Disney.;)

In fact, sometimes I start getting a little depressed even before the trip begins!! The trip itself is a letdown!!!!:teeth: Sure, things go smoothly, and everybody has tons of fun!! But is is the PLANNING that makes life sweet!! My DS call me many names ( not all nice, either!!) but I don't care!! Disney is a big part of my life!!!

My DW understands the planning because she is just as crazy as I am. Her License plate is LUV WDW. But my sister thinks i'm a little OFF KILTER (get it) Ha Ha Ha. The closer the trip gets the more time I spend on the boards. And I'm spending a lot of time now since we only have 15 more days. :firefight

Yahoo! Just got a tentative "go-ahead" to plan a trip in spring2005, and I'm right on it!!! My husband was proud of me once he saw all the benefits of my planning last year, and I am thrilled to be back to the drawing board! My in-laws, who are going with us, aren't quite ready for me, yet, so I'm trying to take it easy on them...:earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsgirl: :earsgirl:

We still have 10 days until we leave, and it's killing me that I can't pack yet!! I planned for 6 months before our trip last Feb. and the second we got home, I marched straight to the computer and ordered the new vacation planning video, and have been planning for this trip ever since. I started a list of everything we need to take with us about a week ago, and I have added to it almost every day. It's hard being less than two weeks out because it's soooo close, yet too far away to do a whole lot of preparation (I really don't want to live out of a suitcase for the next 10 days!). I am on these boards every day, and I think it's just making the anticipation worse! And, I'm sure, the day we get back from this trip, I'll start planning the next one.:earsboy:

Most of my friends and family think I'm obsessed! I love to plan! Right now I'm planning our trip for next year, plus planning trips for 2 of the families that are going with us, plus a trip for my best friend who is taking her family in March! My best friend really cracks me up! Whenever anyone asks her questions or gives her advice about her trip she just says, "Dana does this all of the time, we're just doing whatever she says!";)

Dh used to get a little gripey about all of my planning. Now I just make the plans and tell him where we're supposed to be and what time. I thought he pretty much just tolerated it until our last trip. It was very last minute with NO planning. One day we were trying to decide where to eat dinner and he said, "I like it when you plan all of this in advance and I don't have to make decisions!" Yea, me!:teeth:

Sadly, even ds (4) has been bitten by the planning bug! Today he picked up a toy cell phone and called to make reservations at the Beach Club and a couple of ps's. I kid you not! My friend just looked and me and said, "This must be a really proud moment for you." IT WAS!!!:earseek:

Now, if only I could make ps's more than 90 days in advance, we would be all set!princess:
