I meant to originally post this on the Community Board, but I know my DVC friends can also appreciate my evilness.... I'm actually working the exam myself so that I will be ready to grade them when they come in.

Statistics - AARRRGGHH - I minored in Statistics - That was way too much for me.

No I will have nightmares about Std Deviations, Populations, Correlations, Sample Size Calculations. OMG. It is scary how many terms I still remember.

I always found that very appropriate somehow...

AAAAAARGH!

Had a graduate student as a teacher to intro stats, he had just come over from somewhere in Russia. For the first two weeks, he had problems with his numbers.

For instance, when he wrote "8.9" on the board, he would say, and I quote, "eight decimal ten". Very frustrating.

Gosh do I envy you. While you were DISing, I was teaching a bunch of students level one accounting. They did not want to be there. I bet that they would have rather been DISing too.

Another College Instructor here. I do understand Statistics but I teach Accounting. They have midterms next week so I am working on writing tests. Next weekend will be spent grading them. I think we spend as much time as our student do preping for class (or in the case of some of my students significantly more)

This made me LOL!!!! I thought I was the only faculty member who DIS'ed while working!! I find myself working the posts while my students take exams!! But unlike you, I teach the most frightening, most dreaded college subject--SPEECH!!!!!!!!!!!
