I'm back from QVC!

Must say I had a great time! Very different from what I thought!
Lisa is sooooo nice and so down to earth! Really a people person!
They had a good bag for us to complete a 2 page spread of our day out QVC.
We each got a pen, a photo of Lisa and David, pewter looking metal frame to put their autographs in, a page of mini stickers and large sticker letters some star charms and star tags. Plus a sheet of embelishments (can't think of the name but similar to Jolee) a some fibers to use on the page.
The live show was fun but so hard to see what they are selling. I did very well, only bought a set of "nail heads" that you don't need a hammer to use. I also bought the velumm but when I went to use it, it had little holes in it! SO bummed.
I would recommend going if you live near the area! They had great door prizes of course I didn't win any but they were HUGE!
I will post later Lisa's tips and a web site she highly recommended. She loves to use the computer for all of her journaling and at this site you send in a sample of your hand writing or your kids and then they create a font to match it! HOW KEWL IS THAT?
Well have to get to DD ballet recital!

Sounds like loads of fun. I only got to watch the first hour when it was on, but saw lots of tiarras in the crowd. Maybe one was you? I'll watch the rest later - tivo'd because I had to go to a wedding shower. I did get a couple items during that first hour. I'm so glad they had the galaxy markers in med. point this time - jumped on that one as soon as it came on.

Okay, heading out to LSS to see what they have for NSD. Have money, will spend. (Not really, but it's always fun to look.)

It looked like a lot of fun! Yes, which were you?...Saw lots of ladies with Tiaras! LOL...

I wish they would put a site up with their ideas...there was some really cute things but of course now I can't remember how they were done!...

Glad you had fun. I taped it to watch the ideas again. Wonder if you are on the tape? What did you wear / what you look like / what did others next to you wear & look like / what did you work on..................?

Good luck finding me! hahaha It was a red white and blue theme and I was wearing a red short sleeve shirt with a collar and a v-neck! I did have a Mickey head, red white and blue pin on.. I skimmed through the tape and would have to really know me to find me. I am only in the pan shots. This is where I sat to the left of Lisa second row in about 7 person in . We were next to her family.
It was a lot of fun but I didn't get many ideas. I did use fibers for the first time and was surprised how much I liked it. Simple look but nice...We used some tags and charms, they do not thrill me! Cute and nice but I just can't see spending the money on that.

Nicki, that is a good question! When I first came back I was so excited and pumped I thought it was the greatest! but now that I have a chance to reflect I really don't know! I would say if you have the chance, go but as for repeat....hard to say. I thought you would get more information as in hand outs and I thought the goodie bag would be more....for the price $35.
But I did have an excellent time met so many people from the PA Scrapper board which I belong to. I did find Lisa amazing and so nice and friendly.
So chances are I would go again!

I'm really interested in Lisa's tips and in the website you mentioned -- the one that creates a font in your handwriting -- if you'd have time to post them. Sounds like you really had a nice time!
