Hi everyone!

After not visitng DLP for a couple of years in favour of it's bigger sister, Jack and I are now keen to revisit in the new year.

We loved our January trip in 2009, the low crowds were well worth the freezing weather!

But as it's been so long since I considered a DLRP trip I've pretty much forgotten most things so apologies!

I'll bullet point my questions to make it easier...

  • If offers will come out for Jan/Feb 2012 when roughly will they be released? (I know this year hasn't been so good for offers so far..)
  • How far in advance do Eurostar tickets become available and when is the best time to book them?
  • Will shareholder discount be any better than a package? Considering we don't have any park tickets or anything. (We do have WDW APs but I can't imagine they're of any benefit whatsoever..)
  • Has anything changed since 2009 that's worth getting excited for?

Thanks in advance guys. :)

Hello again :goodvibes!

(I know this year hasn't been so good for offers so far..)

the brochure is not likely to be released until end of this month, so I guess the first offers on them would be mid-June?

  • How far in advance do Eurostar tickets become available and when is the best time to book them?
6 months in advance by phone - sometimes later online. Best time to book is as soon as they become available (by phone).
  • Will shareholder discount be any better than a package? Considering we don't have any park tickets or anything. (We do have WDW APs but I can't imagine they're of any benefit whatsoever..)
shareholder discount is never better than a package - because you only get 10% discount on the full brochure price/full rack rate for the room if booking without park tickets.
  • Has anything changed since 2009 that's worth getting excited for?
well I'm not excited about the theme for 2011/2012, so can't advise on that. Toy Story Playland is new, isn't it? Thats a very cool themed area of the park, in my opinion :goodvibes.

Thanks in advance guys. :)

Thanks for the thorough answer, Elaine!!

We're very excited to see the pink castle again! Definitely the prettiest one by far!

Looking forward to getting busy with planning! Roll on mid-June!

We find the http://www.dlrptoday.com/ and http://www.dlrpmagic.com/ sites quite good, the first one gives updates on new attractions planned etc

Cannot really say much else as it's our 1st time at Disneyland Paris this August, seems strange being able to advise on Florida having been so many times but not on France.

How do you find DLRP and WDW compare Torsie?
