Just got back last night from the best vacation! My husband and I planned an 8 night Orlando trip but ended up the night before heading home to add two more nights....so we had 10 wonderful nights divided among 3 fabulous resorts: Hard Rock Hotel at universal, Boardwalk Inn and Animal Kingdom Lodge. Lots of info to tell about and restaurants to review...but it may take me a while since I have a lot to do after being gone for so long...My report will be full of photos bc they tell the story best :) ENJOY

WELCOME!

we enjoyed Universal and staying at one of the on-site resorts is well worth it because you can see all of the park within hours and go on your favorite rides over and over!

The drive down was uneventful....we left at 11pm from Birmingham, Al. And 8 hours later (my hubby speeds bad when there is no one on the road but us). We went to Gold's Gym to get in our workout then arrived at The Hard Rock Hotel at approximately 10am. And they checked u into a room immediately!!!!:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

So we organized a few things and headed to Islands of Adventure to pick up our tickets from Will Call and see how this "Express Line" Key pass works... We decided to do all the Water Rides this evening then go to the pool.

Amazing....skipping lines feels sinful. Though it wasn't a busy time of year, it still cut a 20-30 minute wait for a ride/attraction down to 2-5 minutes! So we rode all the water rides and then my favorites the Hulk and Spiderman a couple of times. It was about 4pm when we finished all that, so we walked back to the Hard Rock then hung out at the BEAUTIFUL pool and enjoyed a few adult beverages.

Can't wait to hear about your trip ... esp Universal's Harry Potter section and of course WDW ... we leave in six months for 8 days ... wonder if I can talk the crew into an extra 2 days!
