We had a great time at WDW this week. New Year's Eve it rained, and rained and rained. We ended up back at our room by 9:30, soaked to the bone, even with ponchos. I watched the fireworks over MGM from my room, Stephen slept. It took my shoes two days to dry. The girls arrived New Years Day. It was cool on Friday and Saturday and in the evenings, but we just bundled up more and headed out. Crowds really diminished on Sunday and Monday.
Stayed at the Beach Club Villas (NYE at the Dolphin). It was beautiful decorated for Christmas. The slide at Storm Along Bay is being refurbished, but the rest of the pool is open. Surprise Mornings are great (two parks were open early on the 4th and 5th), and you definately see a lot more character presence in the parks.
We ate at Le Cellier for lunch. It was so good. Stephen and I will be going there for dinner on our next trip.
I'll write a detailed trip report in the next week or so.
It's good to be back. I'll answer any questions you have.
