I'm Applying For A New Job

I don't think that I've ever asked for prayers, good wishes or pixie dust in all the years I've been on the DIS, but if you are so inclined to offer some up I'd be grateful.

I am self employed and have seen a decrease in my income in the last couple of years, so much so that I have taken a part time job, which I enjoy (although the hours are nuts!) Just moments ago I found the perfect job for me, in my profession. Great starting salary ($50K+) and a relatively easy commute from my home. It says they have several openings so I'm going to apply...wish me luck!

I'm in the mortgage industry. The job is with one of our service providers so I already have an excellent understanding of their products, services and target market. It really is a perfect job for me.

Thanks all! Good fortune and luck seem to be cyclical. In church the other day the minister said something about "some people are enjoying a season of joy, while others, a time of struggle". We have certainly had our "seasons of joy", but the last year and half has definitely been a struggle, both financially and within the family. Let's hope we are turning a corner.
