I've never given much thought to myself as an A-type or B-type personality but I might be going a little overboard here (with excitement)

I have this bowling-ball size travel bag ( what used to be a carry-on) and in it right now are :

14oz each Shampoo/Conditioner for myself and DD to use
1 bar of Aveeno Facial Soap and a plastic soap container to stick on the wall
2 Banana Boat Sun Screens 30 spf 1 lotion, 1 spray
Band Aids
a dozen or so hand sanitizer packets (need more)
a Bath and Body antibacterial soap dispenser for the sink ($1.50 at our BBW warehouse store) (who wants to wash their hands with those little bars?)
a couple of 8 serving Coffee packets ( variety of flavors) I want some decent coffee in my room at least some of the time:surfweb:
some Swiss Miss cocoa packets to go into my coffee- I don't do cream or sugar
3 cans of shaving cream for myself and DD
4 3-blade razors for smooth shaving LOL!!
new toothbrushes, floss and toothpaste
a book- TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD Yes I'm going to have some relaxation time!! :beach:
a small collapsible umbrella- great sunshields for extra sunny days
3 ponchos- I personally will not wrap myself up in saran wrap in AUG but I have them
1 box of Crystal light packets for water (non-bottled)
Neosporin spray ( that new little key-chain looking thing)
Excedrin Extra Strength 48 ct.:headache:
Q-tips

This thing is stuffed and heavy and its going to take up alot of space in my luggage but I have to have all of it!! and that's not all of it- I still have to remember the ice pack ( tension headaches) my cell phone charger, make-up(at least some) perfume travel-size samples, Clorox Wipes

AND MORE:thumbsup2 LESS THAN TWO WEEKS TO GO:cheer2:

We leave in 19 days. I have already bought all the little extras needed for the trip:
toothbrushes
stain remover
hand sanitizer
shampoo
hair spray
purex laundry sheets
sunscreen
vacation makeup

I have made a list of everything I have yet to pack for the entire family.
I spent the day refining my list of which park which day matched with our ADR's and extra magic hours

You are not alone..... Just happy to be going on vacation. :yay::woohoo::banana:

I leave in 2 days, and we're packing right now. I feel highly unmotivated though. However, I did print out my ADRs and laminate them.

I'm trying to pack light this trip. Although, I know I'll end up packing way more than I need.

I'm in the middle of getting the last of the laundry finished, and I'm trying to decide what I'm packing in my mini-hipster for the parks each day. :laundy:

I've been super excited for this trip all summer, and now I'm losing steam. :(

I don't bring shampoo, I like the WDW shampoo, it is H2O Plus.

I have about 2 1/2 months to go, but I just printed out your list! Ive been picking things up here and there, when I see them on sale.

I have 52 days to go and went shopping for the little things this weekend!! Got all my travel stuff, batteries, body glide, bandaids (found super cute Mickey ones at target) and an over the door organizer. I love looking for the little things before my trip!!
Yesterday I even cleaned out my Disney box to see what else I still need! 52 days woohoo!!!

16 days for us!! I ALWAYS have a "bathroom bag" packed and ready to go, with all the necessities: shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, skin cream, tooth brush, toothpaste, loofah, shower cap, toothbrush hanger, razor, etc. DD's bag is always packed, too, and I have a "medicine bag" with ibuprofen, sinus meds, bonine, muscle relaxants, pain meds, blister bandaids, moleskin that is always ready to go. We love to travel, and like being able to be ready at the drop of a hat!

In the "Disney Backpack," we have glow sticks, hand-held fans, sunscreen, SPF 50 stix for lips and noses, bobble bottles, purell sheets, window clings, nightlight, bathroom deodorizer, soap dish, tub mat, ponchos... not sure what all else is in there... power strip and lanyards! This backpack lives in the bottom of my closet and is added to year-round, whenever I find something I KNOW will help at Disney!

DD16 is SO ready, she has already planned what to wear on which day! I will start thinking about this with about a week left, when I start remembering that if I wear something here at home, it just might not be clean to take to Disney! I have printed out our flight itineraries, tix/travel ressies for IoA. Still need to organize the ADR's and make a few cancellations, and get my travel pouch (for ID, credit card, rewards cards, etc) organized.

Did I mention that, between now and when we leave for Disney, we will be on the road for 6 days, doing college visits?

I've gotta box that I've been buying stuff and adding to since spring that's overflowing...and I don't leave for another month and a half! I noticed you don't have Wisps...they're little disposable toothbrushes with a dot of toothpaste on them for brushing your teeth on the fly in between meals while you're at the parks. You know...for those days that you eat something garlicy, onions, BBQ, spicy that breath mints just won't cover up.

I've been super excited for this trip all summer, and now I'm losing steam. :(

I have to say I am in the same boat. We leave on Wednesday and I just can't get it together. I have been on the boards every day, made lists of ADRs, flight info for family at home, prepared folders of all my info, and even had the family make tie dye mickey shirts to wear when we meet up with friends of ours for the day at the MK. I have plainly spent most of my waking and sleeping moments getting ready for this trip, but now that it is down to three days I just can't get it together. I am hoping that a good night sleep tonight will have me waking up ready to pack!!

Thank you for ensuring me that I'm not insane. I've been planning this trip since February. I think I've done so much planning that I feel as if I've already taken the trip. I don't really plan all that much, but I love Disney--so I'm always on the boards, checking the menus, watching youtube WDW videos, etc. :surfweb: I'm so happy that I've found these boards--it's so great to share my love for Disney with people who feel the same way. :)

Two nights ago, I slipped and fell down our flight of stairs (about 12+ stairs). My back is killing me! I feel drained. :sad1:

Thanks for letting me vent--enough of my pity party--I'm going to WDW!!!! :woohoo:

Truly, even though I'm exhausted, I can't wait to get there. DH and I are celebrating our 8th wedding anniversary and I couldn't be happier about it. We skipped a trip in 2008 because our dog needed surgery and he surprised me with this trip around Valentine's Day. :lovestruc

Wow I don't feel so alone :rotfl: I've got my backpack full of stuff mostly toiletries as well as first aid junk...Sadly though I also have some of my clothes packed, and have had them packed for a week now, I know sad huh...
Anywho, quick question for some of you experienced WDW travelers, how in the world do you pack those misting fans? I'm afraid I'm going to ruin it if I do:scared1:

don't feel bad. i have exactly two weeks to go and am now feeling the pressure. I plan on making a shopping trip this week and one the next. This week, I'll be buying medicine for our 'med bag' - it's full of everything we could possibly need. I hate having to figure out how to get to a pharmacy with no car! I'll also be shopping for ponchos and travel size things.

Next week, I'll pick up the things I forgot.

I don't actually 'pack' until a day or two before. Two days before, i charge all devices also (camera, dvd player, etc...._)

Thanks for the helpful lists of what to pack. I'm having trouble finding Body Glide. Does anyone know what stores carry it or if there is another product that works like it?

I got it at REI, but I think any sports/camping store should have it. I dont know of anything else, but have never looked either!

I got body glide at Dicks. We leave in 12 days and I just started to pick up a few things, I have not even dug out the suit cases. actually the body glide and mini fans are all I have got so far. Oh well last fall I was packing at 5pm with a 10pm leave time.

We usually drive down, so we just put ours in a canvas bag with some of our other vacation stuff like ponchos, autograph books and pens, pin lanyards, etc;. We just put the fans on top. If we were flying, I don't know how we would get them there. Probably just in the top of a suitcase, so when it was sitting up, there wouldn't be as much weight on the blades.

Lets see.. our trip is in 142 days, dec 20th, and of course i started packing January 1st... :thumbsup2

This time of year is our longest wait for a Disney trip (post Thanksgiving). It's also our Disney trip with the MOST room decor (Christmas tree, lights for the balcony, Christmas gifts for our Orlando friends). I have a box in the corner of the loft already amazingly full!

Next will be summer cloths stacked at the change in seasons when most summer things are put away. That collection of cloths is the BIGGEST reminder our fall Disney trip is approaching. That's when I begin to really become excited even though we have 2 trips scheduled elsewhere before the Disney trip.

Ok, I'll admit it.....I have been peeking at the Christmas Party parade and Candelight Processional videos on You Tube!!!
