I don't have to be intimidated by anybody -- really, that's very liberating!!! Nobody's any better or worse than me and nobody really impresses or scares me. I just enjoy people for who they are!

My day belongs to me and I have a whole lot more time to spend with my family now that I'm not doing everything for everyone every time I turn around. I wish I had felt this way in my 30's.
I volunteered for years, but I don't do that anymore either.

We are empty nesters so no more meals to be done on schedule, clothes to wash, kids to run anywhere, bathrooms to clean up after them....I think I am a liberated Mom now!!!

I know it is a US custom (I think those from the UK do it too though!) but just do me a favor...don't wear tank tops!

We had a exchange student from Norway when I was in high school. We had to go out and buy her bras (they apparently don't wear them) and by the time she left she was shaving her under arms and legs. And had written she convince her friends upon returning home to do the same and they all love it. So it is growing world wide. I hate shaving my legs (but have too dark hair) and would give it up in a minute..buy under arm hair! Yuck! I don't like it on men either! Hate a man in a tank top unless there is no hair to be seen!
