I've been accepted to DeSales University which is my second choice - but since I'm going for musical theater I need to audition, too. I'm still waiting to hear from my first choice- Muhlenberg College - I already auditioned there and fell in love with it

I am instrumental. I play the saxophone. The saxophone professor at Bowling Green State University, John Sampen, is one of, if not, THE best classical saxophone player in the world today. He is also an excellent, and hard, professor. He told me that I, as a high school student, should be practicing 2-3 hours a day, and he expects 4-5 hours a day if I become a student of his. I'm not scared. If others have had him as a professor and made it, I can.

I want to say a couple more things. I have also applied to Wright State University in Dayton, OH and Miami University in Oxford, OH (about 20 minutes from where I live.) I haven't necessarily picked which ones were my first choice, second choice, etc. I also might apply to another school....maybe. I can't necessarily go out-of-state because I can't afford it. I would prefer to go to a school that is out in the open rather than the city. There are a lot of factors affecting my choices. Anyway, thanks for the congrats.

have you been to visit it yet? its sorta kinda in the country and then theres a little town of what else...bowling green. toledo is a decent sized town that is about umm maybe 20-30 minutes...depending on where your going. there is lots to do in toledo too! from what i know, bg is a good school. so if you go there, i wish you good luck. if you choose to go somewhere else, i wish you good luck as well!

My older sister got accepted a couple of months ago, for a nursing program at a University in Chilliwhack (although you probably don't know where that is).

Hey, LOVES DISNEY, I just got accepted to Westfield State College too! Although, I will be attending either Western New England College or Stonehill College. Most likely WNEC though. I loved it when I visited. And I'm still waiting on my letter from the University of Delaware. That's still really cool though!

I've been there twice. I attended a week-long music camp at BGSU last summer. And I visited the campus a couple months ago.
