I'm a Virgin Airmiles Dummy - Please help!

I have about 17,000 airmiles (I know thats hardy any) and never even think them because to be honest they seem worthless to me.

Now I keep reading bits on here that people have saved with them???? If I book a package holiday through Virgin Holidays - can I do anything with the Airmiles?

No your airmiles can't be used on VH.
You only need 2,000 miles to get a miles and Money seat. Thats how we got flights last Easter school hols for £291 and August for £533. This Easter £410. upto £300pp cheaper than full price. This August using 20,000 each to get a free flight out to Florida, just paying tax at £101 then bought return flight for £235.
