I'm a newbie,,,but an excited one..just bought my tickets for Dec

Hi everyone I've been lurking here for about a month, ever since my DH and I decided to take our kids to WDW for Christmas..and I just bought my airline tickets on Expedia and I am sooo excited I can't hardly stand it. I haven't been to WDW in 22 years, my DH and 2 DS's have never been. We are going to be there Dec. 18 thru Dec. 26, my sister lives there so we are taking a vacation and going to spend time with my sister. My 2 boys are both teenagers ages 16 and 17(will be 18 when we go). I have really learned alot from this site, thanks so much. I just didn't know where else to go with all my excitement and I knew that someone here would definately know how I feel...well I'm rambling now so I better go, but I will be checking the boards later to see what else I can find to help get stuff ready for the trip.

December is a great time to go, the parks and resorts are decorated for Christmas, it really is beautiful.

Hello, welcome to Dis! Everyone is very informative here. Christmas is one of my favourite times at WDW, I have been there twice at that time of year.
I was trying to find the countdown timer for you, I know there is a link here somewhere. Try the first timer forums, or the general discussion forum.

Definitely get tix for Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party. I think the official hours are 7-midnight, but they usually let you in around 4:00PM. You just have to go to Tomorrowland for an hour around 6:00PM. Strollers are free and there's sooo much to do. Check it out if you get a chance.
