After more than a dozen Disney vacations - several of those at DVC resorts on rented points - DH and I finally took the plunge and bought into DVC. On Wednesday 1/12, we closed on our 130-point SSR resale contract. We are now official DVC members!

We're planning our first trip as owners for 7 nights during late November-early December 2011, specific dates TBD. We'll start off by making a reservation at SSR as soon as we're in the system, but we'll see what's available at BCV or BWV at the 7-month mark and may make a switch for all or part of the stay at that time.

Now - how do I get the SSR DVC banner for my sig?

We became SSR owners two years ago and it is still is the best investment we've ever made. Right now the January dues bill is hard to take so close to Christmas but we still considered it the brightest move we've ever made.

Congratulations from one DVC owner from Massachusetts to another! We purchased DVC about 5 years ago and absolutely LOVE it. I can't even guess how many trips we have now taken with DVC and are going twice this year.
Not sure how to get the DVC banner because I had one of my sons figure it out. Enjoy many years at WDW!
