Who are we:

My husband, Louis. He is a big Disney fan. He has cerebral palsey so he will be riding around in an ECV rented from Buena Vista Scooters. He loves Goofy, Biergarten & most attractions.

Then there is me, Jamie. I have been to Disney 10 times including Disney Land. I am hearing impaired & I too will be riding in an ECV due to a bad knee & to keep up with my husband. I love Tinkerbell, Peter Pan & Tigger, Biergarten & most attractions.

What Reason for trip:

To celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary which was April 16th & my 35th birthday which is May 18. It will also be awhile before we decide to make this trip again as we are low budget & I need to find a job.

Where Staying:

We are staying at Pop Century which is our favorite resort besides Port Orleans. We will stay in a preferred room.

When:

May 23-June 7th.

Arrival Day: May 23, 2011:

This was the day we went to Disney World to celebrate my 35th birthday & 10th Wedding anniversary. It also happens to be the day after I met Justin Timberlake, who happens to be a Mousketeer from The New Mickey Mouse Club as it was called. :cloud9:

We woke up at 2:50 AM & got ready to go & to do the last of the packing. We had Fenix Car Service pick us up & take us to LGA to the Delta terminal. We did curbside check-in & Louis got a wheelchair. Security was a piece of cake. Disappointed to find Burger King is no longer in the Delta terminal but new places I never heard of where you order on the computer. We each got an egg sandwich. It was decent. We boarded the plane. It was a smooth flight & we landed at 9:00 AM which was early. :woohoo:

Louis got another wheelchair & we walked to the Magical Express area which seems like it takes forever to get to. :rolleyes1

We were staying at Pop Century & when we got to the check-in desk, our rooms werent ready yet so we gave the cast member my cell phone # to text me when the room was ready. :hippie:

We got our ECVs & decided to ride around the resort. Took lots of photos with my new camera I got from my best friend for my bday. :thumbsup2

At 1:03 PM we decided to go to check in to see if our rooms were ready yet & it wasnt, so they said they were going to talk to Mousekeeping about it. We were on our way again & as I was checking my email a few minutes later, I got a text saying our room was ready. :yay:

We stayed on the second floor in the Lady building again. We dropped off our stuff & then headed for Downtown Disney to get our Annual Passes & Tables In Wonderland card. We were also hungry. We ate at T-Rex. :cool2:

After we ate we took the Sassagoula ferry to Port Orleans Resort to look around. We have stayed there before & loved the New Orleans theme. Yes, I took more pictures. We took the boat back to Downtown Disney to get our resort bus back to Pop Century. :flower3:

When we got back to the resort we went to our room & our luggage was there waiting for us. We decided to take a nap & we took a three hour nap!! Oh My!!

After we got up, we went to the food court to buy our new adorable & colorful refillable mugs. Louis has blue & I have hot pink. I also got a carrot cake. That is the only place I will eat one. Louis got a Mickey bar & he was having trouble eating it. :lmao:

We decided to go back to our room & watched the news & Headlines on Jay Leno. :happytv:

Our first official full day is EPCOT & we have ADRs for LeCellier so stay tuned. popcorn::

Day 1: May 24, 2011

This day was EPCOT day. :goodvibes

We had slept in because the past two days we were running on only four hours of sleep. We woke up at around 10:00 AM & got ready. We had breakfast at the food court. We had our usual Disney breakfast. I had the chocolate croissant with Strawberry milk. Louis had apple turnover with coffee. After we ate I washed Louis' mug & dried it. I put it in my bag with my mug to use for later. :)

Took the EPCOT bus to EPCOT. After we got to EPCOT I did the usual bag check routine at the security table. We got inside the turnstiles & the first thing we did was take a photo in front of the EPCOT ball as I call it. Used photopass & my camera. :cutie:

Louis wanted to go to Guest Services to get a Guest Access Card [GAC] to use on rides for handicapped access. :thumbsup2

Went by the dancing water fountain that dances to music at times & I got wet from the sprays. It felt really good too. Since Club Cool was also by these dancing fountains we decided to go inside. Club Cool is a place where you can sample Coke from around the world. My favorite it watermelon from China. I drank at least 3 or 4 cups of it. I even drank my least favorite from Italy called Beverley for a friend of ours who loves it. YUCK!! This time I took a picture of me not liking the flavor. :lovestruc

We headed over to The Land to ride on Soarin which is one of my favorite attractions. Soarin is an attraction that they also have in Disney Land where you are flying over CA with senses like wind & smells like Pine Trees & Oranges.

After Soarin, we headed to World Showcase. We rode around in our ECV's looking at some of the countries. Got our picture taken with a character, Marie in France. She's one of the cats in Aristocats. Yes, I did interact with her. We looked at Morocco. Also went to our favorite country, Germany to look at the new caramel store. The bakery looked like it had some good yummies but I didn't want to spoil my dinner. I was thirsty though & I knew where to get a good root beer float which was at the Refreshment Port before you cross the bridge to Mexico. :cloud9:

After our drinks we got to Showcase Plaza & got our picture with a new character named Duffy Bear. He is a teddy bear that Minnie gave to Mickey when she came home from a trip that Mickey couldn't go on. :cool2:

We headed for Canada to see Off-Kilter which is a band that wears kilts & plays Canadian music. Depending on who you get, one plays bagpipes & another plays the fiddle. Sadly, the one with bagpipes, Jamie wasn't there this time. I prefer him over the fiddle.

We headed for England to see the replacement band that took over for British Invasion. They didn't have a name yet. On the schedule they are known as Live Music From The U. K. I hate to say it but they are not as good & it made me miss British Invasion. This trip I will give them a chance to get used to them. We would go back & forth to see Off-Kilter & new band. :sad2:

Went back over to Canada. We watched the ducks & went up to the Canadian shops which we have never done before. It was beautiful up there. We had a dinner reservation for LeCellier at 5:00 PM. It was a very good dinner. Both of us had the very tender filet mignon with that white looking rice with cheese. I guess for my birthday dessert I got Maple Creme Brulee which was tasty. :thumbsup2

After eating we went to one more new show in the UK & then we went to find a spot for Illuminations: Reflections Of Earth, which is a fireworks show that I still think is the best ever. We also got to know the cast member in the wheelchair area. It was nice meeting you, Shawn. Shawn & Louis talked for quite awhile. popcorn::

After Illuminations, we took the Pop Century bus back to the resort. I did what I will do every night & that is to fill up our mugs. :rolleyes1

Stay tuned for Animal Kingdom Day :yay:

Day 2: May 25, 2011

This was Animal Kingdom day. :cool1:

We did our usual get up, get ready & eat breakfast routine. We took the Animal Kingdom bus to Animal Kingdom & went through the usual bag checking. ;)

First thing we did & always do is go to Kilimanjaro Safaris which is always a different ride each time. It's a ride where you ride in a motor vehicle & it takes you on a safari. Yes, there are real animals. I actually took a ton of pictures of some animals. I took pictures of crocodiles, giraffe babies, gazelles, elephants & ankole cow. :lovestruc

After the safari, we went on the Pangani Exploration Trail. This is a trail with animals like gorillas, meerkats, bats & birds. I took a picture of the gorilla & bats. I love bats. I also love meerkats too but they werent out that day.

We went on the Wildlife Express Train to Rafiki's Planet Watch which is a train ride that takes you to a building where you learn how to conserve. They even show you surgeries too if you go at the right time. Today was Turtle day, so I got to pet & touch a box turtle. It was quite a busy place so I skipped Jiminy Cricket & the petting zoo. :cool2:

I wanted to see the tigers so we went on the Maharajah Jungle Trek. This is something similar to the Pangani one but different animals. The tigers were not out because of the heat. It's been in the 90s all week so I got sunburn on my arms & face. Next time we go we will go again. :sad2:

Louis loves Tough To Be A Bug 4D show. I have gotten used to it & its a great place to cool off, so we went there. Its a show where you put on 4D glasses & Flick is your host. He shows everyone how tough it is to be a bug & how we should be kind to them. :scared1:

We headed to the front of the park since we had to leave soon & didnt want to get stuck in the parade route. We looked at all the animals in the area. Beautiful black swans & big beautiful birds. :littleangel:

We left the park & took the Fort Wilderness Campground bus to Fort Wilderness Campground since we had dinner reservations at Trails End Buffet. I love their sweet tea.

After we ate we took the boat back to Magic Kingdom & then got on the Pop Century bus back to our resort. Got some soda in our mugs & took them back to our room to watch American Idol Finale. I'm glad Scotty McCreery won. Will he be coming to Disney World while I am here? I guess we will see. :woohoo:

Next up: Disney Hollywood Studios Day popcorn::

Day 3: May 26, 2011

This was Disney Hollywood Studios day. popcorn::

We took the Disney Hollywood Studios bus to Disney Hollywood Studios. After getting my bag checked, we went straight to Pixar Place & got on Toy Story Mania which had a 70 minute wait in the standby line. However, we had the GAC & used it so we didn't have to wait that long. Of course I beat Louis' score. :lmao:

After Mania we went on the Backstage Tour where we rode on a Tram to see how movies are made. I love going over Catastrophe Canyon & get wet. The thing that needs to change on this is the movie shoot. They still show the film Pearl Harbor. Its time for something new. :confused3

After the tour we went to Streets Of America & took a few pictures of New York & then we went to Muppet Vision 4D which is a Muppet Show with sight gags. I love Kermit & Beeker.

I wanted to try the updated Star Tours 4D so Louis went with me. I loved it but Louis still doesn't care for it. He has never seen any of the movies so he wouldn't get the stories. Oh Well!! :3dglasses

After Star Tours we found a spot for the new Pixar Pals parade. We were quite disappointed in it because it was shorter & only two new characters were added. It's not as much fun. :sad2:

Since we were hot from sitting in the sun, we went on the Hollywood tour where you sit in a tram & see movies from the old days. popcorn::

After that, we went to watch the American Idol Experience & then we got hungry so we had an ADR at 50's Prime Time Cafe which is a 50's diner set in the 50's with tables & old TV's showing TV shows from the 50's. Our cousin's name was Mary Ann & she was a lot of fun with everyone in the room. Louis got Dad's meatloaf with corn & mashed potatoes. He even got a clean plate sticker. I got Aunt Liz's fried chicken with corn & mashed potatoes. I also got a peanut butter & jelly shake. For my bday dessert I got a cupcake & a card signed by the workers at the Cafe. :happytv:

After we ate we went to watch the Finale of Idol. A guy named Randy won the golden ticket to try out for the real thing. He wasn't that great. :sad1:

We went back to the resort for the night. :thumbsup2

Stay tuned for Magic Kingdom day :wizard:

Day 4: May 27, 2011

This was Magic Kingdom Day as we had an ADR for Liberty Tree Tavern. :cool1:

We took the Hollywood Studios bus because a friend of ours, Jim, wanted us to get him something for Star Wars Weekend which is why we got on that bus. :thumbsup2

We got to Hollywood Studios & went to where the merchandise was. They ran out of t-shirts in sizes we wanted so we went to guest relations to see if they could help us out. They told us to come back the next day to get a merchandise number. We were happy with that & maybe they will have more shirts even though the girl said they wont. :confused3

After Hollywood Studios we rode our ECV's to EPCOT to catch the Monorail to Magic Kingdom. Come to find out we were getting to ride on the Tronorail which I got excited about.

As soon as we got to Magic Kingdom I got a picture with the new sign Let The Memories Begin & then we went to the new Times Theatre & met Mickey Mouse. Minnie was also with him which was exciting. :cloud9:

After meeting them I told Louis I was thirsty & I told him he knew what that meant. It meant we take a ride to Adventureland & get myself a Dole Whip float & Louis got a root beer float. It was really good. :woohoo:

We went over to the Jungle Cruise. I love that ride & then we skipped Pirates Of The Carribean so we could catch a spot for the parade. A cast member saw our Anniversary button so another cast member, Cathy, came over to us & gave us a pass for free ice cream or soda. She also talked to Louis for a bit. She wanted us to talk to her boss because he too is a big Beatles fan. :cool2:

After the parade we went to Country Bear Jamboree. I love the singing bears & then we went on the Liberty Square Riverboat. I love that ride because it goes around Tom Sawyer Island because it's relaxing. :)

It was time to eat so we went to Liberty Tree Tavern. It's a restaurant that serves Thanksgiving year round. For my birthday I got a cupcake. :littleangel:

After we ate we went to Fantasyland & I saw "its a small world" ride only had a five minute wait so we went there. We didn't get to ride because we were told ECVs arent allowed down the area anymore. The cast member told us it was like that for 7 years in which we told her it wasn't true because we have been going to Disney every year. She changed her story & said it was like that since last September. We werent too happy with this so we headed straight to guest relations. The cast member there told us they refurbished it & we would have to transfer to a wheelchair. We still dont know why they changed it. :sad1:

We needed to leave quickly anyway because of really dark clouds heading in our direction & we wanted to get back to our hotel before it started to pour. Yes, we did get back before it poured. :scared1:

Stay tuned for EPCOT day #2 & our ADR at Biergarten. :yay:

Day 5: May 28, 2011

This was EPCOT day with ADR at Biergarten. :yay:

Of course we would be visiting these parks on more than one occasion so don't say Again? There is a lot of things to do in each park whether you think there is or not. :rolleyes1

We went to Hollywood Studios first to try for the t-shirts again. These are special Passholder items that are kept secret. Still no shirts but at least we got a number. :cool2:

After we didn't have luck again, we rode over to EPCOT & rode on Soarin. We love Soarin. This time we also went on the Living With The Land ride. It's a ride where you sit & it shows you how plants & animals live. They even use some of the vegetables in the restaurants from The Land.

We headed for Test Track. It's a ride where you sit in a car & you are the test dummy. I had to sit in the middle this time. I would rather have the right side. :sad2:

After TT we went to Mouse Gears to find some mouse pads for a friend but not until we got some watermelon drink at Club Cool. I only took a picture of the mouse pads because we weren't planning to buy one.

After riding around, we went to the UK to watch that new band again. I still miss British Invasion. We decided to go around the World on our ECV's. This time we decided to get a hot dog with chips. Hot dog was good. Saved the chips & went next door to buy fries to share. Ate the fries in the UK again while watching the band again. Off-Kilter was off today. :sad1:

It happened to be really warm. It was in the 90s with heat index in the 100s. We found this out while sitting in the shade by Germany. It was time to eat at the Biergarten. Martina wished me a Happy Birthday so I asked her how to say it in German. She told me but I don't know how to spell it. We love eating here even if you do share a table with others. It's a good way to make friends & you never know they could be from your area. We talked to some people from Louisiana but live in Pennsylvania now. Big SNL fans too. :cheer2:

After we ate, my ECV decided to go dead on me so Louis had to push me with his ECV to Guest Relations to charge the battery. At this point we decided to go back to our resort but not before I sat awhile waiting for the Tronorail to pass by so I could take a photo on my new camera & a video on my cell phone. The video didn't record very long. Even after charging my ECV it still died on me again. At least we made it back to the resort. princess:

Stay tuned for Animal Kingdom Day #2 with ADR at Rainforest Cafe. :goodvibes

Day 6: May 29, 2011

This was Animal Kingdom Day with ADR for Rainforest Cafe. :goodvibes

We waited for the Animal Kingdom bus for over an hour. Felt like it was going to be one of those days but I stayed my usual happy self which made the day better as it went along. :thumbsup2

Of course the first thing we did when we got there was go on Kilimanjaro Safaris. Didn't see as many animals this time. :confused3

We took the Wildlife Express Train to Rafiki's Planet Watch. It was nice & cool at the Conservation Station. No surgeries were scheduled but there was a woman talking about a snake she was holding. We decided to sit & listen & when it was time to pet the snake we went outside to the petting zoo which was quite boring this time. :rolleyes1

We went to the Pangani Exploration Trail to see if we could see some tigers. This time I saw a tiger & took a picture of it.

We decided to get a location for the parade so we did. I took some pictures & I got kissed on the hand from either Chip or Dale & another Disney character.

After the parade it was time to head out to eat at Rainforest Cafe. I got a birthday ice cream which I shared with Louis since it came with two spoons. :confused3

After we ate we decided to go back into the park. Since it was getting a little cooler we decided to ride on the Safari's again. Saw a lot of animals this time & a giraffe was walking right by the truck we were in. Also saw a Lion pacing back & forth. :cloud9:

After the safari we went on the trails to see if we could see any animals. I saw a porcupine.:woohoo:

We headed out & back to our hotel. Saw some fireworks in EPCOT from the top floor of our hotel. :yay:

Stay Tuned for something relaxing we did. :)

Day 7: May 30, 2011

We decided to go to the AMC 24 Pleasure Island in Downtown Disney. One one side of the theatre it has regular theatres & on the other side it has theatres where you sit & dine while watching a movie. We did the non dining part. :happytv:

We saw Something Borrowed & Bridesmaids. I liked Bridesmaids but Louis liked Something Borrowed better. popcorn::

After the movies we rode around DTD & looked at a few stores. Earl Of Sandwich was super busy so we decided to go back to the hotel to eat. We had cheeseburger & fries. It was OK. :confused3

Stay Tuned for Kona Breakfast & Magic Kingdom Day. :cool1:

Day 8: May 31, 2011

Kona Breakfast & Magic Kingdom Day. :)

We got up early & took the Magic Kingdom bus to Magic Kingdom & then got on the Monorail to go to the Polynesian resort to have breakfast at Kona. This hotel is Hawaiian themed & very pretty. For breakfast I had the ham & cheese omelette with potatoes & a biscuit. I also had Lilikoi juice which was really good. I believe it is mixed with Guava, orange & something else. :lovestruc

After we ate we decided to take a look around the hotel. Rode over to the boat dock & had flashbacks of when Jim took me on a sea raycer for the first time & helped me get over my fear of boats, then Louis & I rode the path that leads to the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa which is a beautiful resort like you would see in old movies. It also has a wedding chapel.

After looking at that resort we wanted to get back on the Monorail to go to Magic Kingdom but the Monorail had a shortage for awhile so we had to wait for a bus that went to the Magic Kingdom. :confused3

After we got to the Magic Kingdom we had to find someone named Chris O because we were referred to him by Kathy from when we were there a few days before. She told us about Chris & how he is a big Beatles fan so I showed him a picture of me with Sir Paul McCartney on my cell phone. He told us a story of how he met Sir Paul. He gave us a coupon for free ice cream at The Palace ice cream parlour. He also gave us his email address which is cool.

It was time to go so we headed over to the Palace for the ice cream. We had a free root beer float & saw a guy working in the back who looked like Bobby Moynihan. Sadly I did not take a photo. :sad2:

After the ice cream we headed straight for Cinderella Castle. We wanted to go through the Castle but there was a play going on with the characters. Instead we decided to go around the Castle to try to head for the characters & to ride Haunted Mansion. Rapunzel & Flynn Ryder had a long line as did Princess Tiana & Prince Navin. :scared1:

We got on the Haunted Mansion right away & I love the new added touches to it. In the hitchhiking ghosts I get slapped in the face a few times. :lmao:

After Haunted Mansion we went into Fantasyland. Got to see Mickey's Philharmagic. It's a 4D show where Donald gets lost at a Symphony. Its a lot of fun to see. Then we went into Tomorrowland. :flower3:

In Tomorrowland I rode on the People Mover which is a relaxing ride around Tomorrowland. Then we went in line to get a picture with Chip & Dale. They loved my shirt that I made & it says I'm Not Ignoring You, I Am Really Hearing Impaired. They tried to sign to me to which I just smiled. As our pic was being taken, one of them tickled my ear.

After meeting my furry best friends, we went on the Carousel Of Progress which is a ride that talks about what has been happening from the past to the future. It's A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow. :yay:

When we got done with that, it was time for us to exit the Kingdom & take a boat ride to Wilderness Lodge to eat at Whispering Canyon Cafe which is not quiet at all. It's supposed to be noisy & fun, which it was that night. Louis & I both had meatloaf with mashed potatoes & garlic bread. It was really good & I'm not a fan of it. For our anniversary we got a cupcake. :cheer2:

We looked around the Lodge & I took a picture of a waterfall with the Lodge behind it & then someone took a picture of us. We went to look at the geyser the Lodge has behind the pool area on the way to the boat dock. We sat there for 20 minutes until the geyser erupted with water. We ran as I got wet from it. I took pictures of that too. I love the geyser. :cloud9:

We took the boat back to Magic Kingdom but didn't stay. We got on the bus back to our resort to charge my ECV. Stayed in the hotel.

Stay tuned for what's next

Day 9: June 1, 2011

We decided that because we were expecting rain to hotel hop or see a movie. We went to Downtown Disney & did some shopping. I got some socks in Little Miss Matched & then we went to the World Of Disney to buy a few items. :cool1:

After we did our shopping we rode our ECVs over to Pleasure Island to the movie theatre to see a few movies. We saw Hangover 2 which I didn't care for but thought the first one was better. We also saw the second part of First Graders which was an OK movie. popcorn::

After the movies, the rain let up so we took a ride over to Earl Of Sandwich. We both had Cannonballs which is really good. After we ate there we went to Ghiradelli. :lovestruc

We decided to do something we havent tried yet & that was go to Old Key West so we took a boat ride which was really beautiful. I took a few pictures, then headed back to the boat back to DTD to take the Pop Century bus. :)

When we got back to our resort we did the laundry in a full room. All the dryers were full but a few washers were empty. It was crowded so Louis went to guest relations to tell them the problem. They gave Louis a $5 bill & we got the laundry done for free. :wizard:

Stay tuned for the next update.

Day 10: June 2, 2011

This was Animal & Magic Kingdom Day with ADR at Tony's Town Square. :goodvibes

Yes, we did the Safari again & this time I was sitting on the right side of the vehicle instead of my usual left side which I prefer because I didn't get to take pictures of as many animals this time. It was a full vehicle too. :confused3

Went on the Wildlife Express to Rafikis Planet Watch. Nothing too exciting this time. I do miss PIPA though. For those who don't remember or are new, PIPA was a talking yellow recycle bin & would go around talking to people & make jokes about recycling. :lmao:

After visiting Rafiki, we went to Pangani again. This time the tigers were out but were sleeping since it was hot/humid. I took pictures of the close up one. I love it when the tigers are close. :cool1:

We got to Dinoland & I got a hot dog with Coke icee. Louis got a hot dog with regular Coke. We know where to get the best hot dog in each park almost. :thumbsup2

After visiting the land of dino, we got our picture taken with Pooh, Eeyore & Tigger. They were fun. ;)

Went on Tough To Be A Bug again. I'm starting to like it. :)

Started to head out & I decided to use photopass & get a few photos with the Tree Of Life behind us. :lovestruc

We took the bus to the Transportation & Ticket Center to ride the Ferryboat to Magic Kingdom which was a lot of fun & a great way to keep cool. :hippie:

We ran into Kathy. She chatted with us for awhile. She gave us a Celebration button & under it she wrote Honorary Castmember which was really cool. :wizard:

It was time for dinner at Tony's Town Square where Lady & The Tramp ate in the movie. I had Gnocci & Louis had spaghetti. They gave us a birthday ice cream.

After we ate we took the WDW railroad around the park. It was a nice ride & I got to see whats going on where Mickeys Toontown Fair was. They are building Storybook Circus. :cloud9:

After the railroad we got to go through the Castle which I love doing. We headed to Tomorrowland where I got to ride Mad Tea Party which are tea cups that spin you around but you have to spin the cup. Then we went to Monsters Inc Laugh Floor to see what kind of jokes Mike was up to. popcorn::

My ECV needed a charge so we had to go to guest relations to charge it. While it was charging, we watched the Electrical Parade. After the parade, I picked up my ECV & tried to find a spot for Wishes, a fireworks show. I took pictures of it. :yay:

After Wishes we slowly went out of the park & if I ran into you or ran over you, I apologize. I wasn't trying to do that. It was wall to wall crowded.

Up next: EPCOT day with more German food. :yay:

Day 11: June 3, 2011

This was EPCOT day again with ADR at Biergarten. :woohoo:

Before we went to EPCOT we went to Hollywood Studios for the Passporter Lanyard Giveaway. We also bought a T-shirt for my best friend Chris at Star Wars weekend. :yay:

After we felt we accomplished something, we rode over to EPCOT. World Showcase wasn't open yet which was strange. The first thing we did was go on Test Track & then we went to Mission: Space to send emails from space. While doing that, I charged my ECV. Louis called Buena Vista Scooters to send out another ECV since the one I had kept running low on battery way too quickly. :headache:

After the service guy dropped off my new ECV, Louis & I went on Spaceship Earth which is the ride inside of the EPCOT ball. It's a ride that shows you what happened in the past & even predicts your future for you. Not to be taken seriously of course. :cool2:

After we rode that, we went on Soarin & Living With The Land. Then it was time to go to United Kingdom to see the new Britain singing group called British Revolution which stills arent as good as British Invasion. They tend to play the same set of songs every time. Not too impressive. :rolleyes1

We went to Canada to see Off-Kilter. This time my favorite bagpiper, Jamie was there. Makes the songs more exciting. After Off-Kilter we went to Club Cool & then we went to Seas With Nemo & Friends to see Turtle Talk with Crush which is a show where kids can sit on the green carpet & interact with Crush. :littleangel:

After seeing a turtle talk, we went to look at the fish, mainly the dolphins. Watched the dolphins for a bit & then it was time to go to Germany for our ADR at the Biergarten for the second time on our trip. We love that place & its a must to have it twice on our trips. :flower3:

After we ate we decided to go back to The Seas to watch the dolphins again & for me to get pictures of them. On the way out we got a shirt for me that has a picture of Dory on it that says I Dont Remember Where I Got This Shirt. :lmao:

We left EPCOT & went back to our resort. :)

Up next: Animal Kingdom Lodge, Zebra Domes & Magic Kingdom. :thumbsup2

Day 12: June 4, 2011

This day we went to Animal Kingdom Lodge for Zebra Domes & then Magic Kingdom with ADR at Crystal Palace. :thumbsup2

Zebra Domes is a dessert you can only get at either The Animal Kingdom Lodge or Boma. Its a little cake shaped like a dome with zebra stripes. :)

While we were at the Lodge we looked at the animals. Saw mainly Zebras & Giraffes. We have stayed at this resort once but were disappointed in it because when we woke up there werent any animals outside our window. Its a beautiful resort though & it was the first time I have ever had room service. :confused3

After three hours of being there we headed for Magic Kingdom as we had ADR for dinner with Pooh & friends at The Crystal Palace which is a buffet. While you eat, the characters come over to your table for pictures. For my bday I got a cupcake & a card signed by Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore & Piglet. :lovestruc

We decided to stay awhile so we went to Adventureland & I rode on Magic Carpets Of Aladdin which is a ride where you sit in a carpet & ride in circles. You can even make your carpet go up & down but try not to get spit on by the camel.

Then we went to Frontierland & watched Country Bear Jamboree which is a show that animatronic bears put on. The songs are catchy too. :cool2:

Then Fantasyland & rode on the Mad Tea Party & then Tomorrowland. I rode on the People Mover. After the People Mover I found us a spot for Wishes since the last time we saw Wishes a tree was in our way. :3dglasses

After Wishes we headed out & this time it was easy. We went to guest relations to see Kathy before we left. We thanked her for everything.

When we got back to our resort we watched a repeat of SNL & then bed.:happytv:

Stay tuned for last time at Animal Kingdom & a Chef named Mickey. :yay:

Day 13: June 5, 2011

This was our last Animal Kingdom day with ADR at Chef Mickey. :sad2:

We took the bus to Animal Kingdom & it was a really hot day so we thought it would be shady & cool but it wasnt. :rolleyes1

We did our usual things here. The safari was full so I had to sit on the right side again. Conservation Station was nice & cool. This time I learned about a red tailed hawk & an owl. Went to Dinoland for a hot dog that was cold. Then we went to Pangani Exploration Trail to see some tigers which were all sleeping. Its Tough To Be A Bug where it was also nice & cool. :3dglasses

After bug, we headed out but stopped in the photo area to look at our photo pass photos. They looked great. :thumbsup2

We left & then took the bus to Contemporary resort for our ADR at Chef Mickey's for dinner. When we got to Chef Mickey's which is a buffet style restaurant with characters coming to your table. I got a special picture taken with Chef Mickey himself holding a napkin saying Hi to Chris. It was a surprise for him. ;)

After we ate we went on the walkway to Magic Kingdom to catch our Pop Century bus. When we got to our resort I put on my bathing suit & went swimming in the bowling pin pool. The water was nice & warm but when I got out I was freezing so I walked fast to my room to change.

Day 14: June 6, 2011

This is our last day of Magic & fun. :sad2:

Hope you have a tissue handy because this is the last day of magic & fun. :sad1:

We had an ADR for a character Breakfast at Ohana's. Its a buffet where they bring the food to your table. I had some Lilikoi juice again & it was so good I had 3-4 glasses of it. I got pictures taken with Stitch, Lilo, Mickey & Pluto in Hawaiian shirts. I even got leid. Yes, I misspelled that on purpose. :littleangel:

After we ate we took the Monorail to Transportation & Ticket Center to transfer to EPCOT. Once we got to EPCOT we did Test Track, Soarin, Club Cool, listened to Off-Kilter & British Revolution. I got a picture with British Revolution & welcomed them to EPCOT. :flower3:

We rode over to The Beach Club & ate at Beaches & Creame. We both had a hot dog with fries & I had an Orangesicle to drink. They gave each of us a balloon. One for my bday & one for our anniversary. princess:

After eating, we rode over to Hollywood Studios. There we went on Toy Story Mania & I beat Louis again. Then we went on the Backlot tour & then went through Streets Of America & noticed that Cars is not open yet. Went over to Walt Disney: One Man's Dream. Animation Studios which was updated with the new Cars 2 film & we decided to go back to the resort. :goodvibes

As soon as we got back to the resort, I cried in the lobby. Louis understood. We bought a few things in the resort store & then we went to our room to pack. :sad2:

Up Next: Departure Day. :sad1:

Day 15: June 7, 2011

This is Departure Day.

This is one of the hardest days you will ever have when visiting the World even if you know you will be returning again whether its soon or a few years from now.

We woke up feeling a little sad but we did our usual getting ready routine & then going to breakfast one last time in the food court. We ate outside since it was nice out & we got a visit from the Pop Century resident Duck family. I took a picture of them & I said goodbye to them. It was a sad moment.

We returned to our room to finish up the packing & a look around to see if we got everything. This time we didn't take the towel animals or the balloons that kept making me sneeze the day before. It was strange because balloons usually dont do that.

We headed out to the luggage area to turn in our luggage for check in. We got to sit in our ECVs while waiting for the Magical Express to pick us up & take us to MCO to catch our Delta flight. At first we had trouble getting on the bus because we didn't have the right pamphlet but the luggage people got it for us & off we went. When we got to the airport we went through security which was a breeze, then we took the monorail to the Delta terminal, ate lunch at Nathans & then waited at the terminal.

Louis was supposed to be let on the plane first since handicapped people go on first but instead he was the last one on the plane. Louis complained & someone from Delta gave us vouchers to purchase airline tickets to use on our next trip before June 2012 so it looks like we will be planning another Disney trip as soon as we get the SNL schedule & I get a job.

We didn't get our snacks on the plane because napped all the way home. I woke up to Louis looking out the window saying that stuff doesn't look right. At first I thought maybe we were going to land in a different state or JFK airport but I heard the guy on the speaker say we will be landing at LGA soon.

As soon as we landed, everything went as it should have & we went to pick up our luggage which didn't take long & then the escort took us to the cab & we took a cab home. Ah the sounds & smells of NYC & it was warm. The warmth made me feel good to be home again.

I only felt sad for one day & that was it. Its strange. It could be because I'm used to the trip now.

Up next: The Epilogue

The Disologue

I would like to thank all of my readers if you made it this far & I hope you all enjoyed my Disney story whether you are a big Disney fan or not. If you enjoyed my Disney story please continue with the Disologue of my thoughts.

We tried to book our vacation through a travel service that I read so highly about on the Disney boards called MEI. We were very disappointed with them because we can book everything ourselves like we have in the past. I had read that we could get Free Dining which we were told doesn't exist at the moment. Then why did I read that others got it? I found out I wasn't the only one having that problem.

Even with higher prices with luggage fees, I still love flying Delta. As long as I have flown with them I have never felt any sort of turbulence. They also land smoothly.

We love using Magical Express & will always use it for now on. Its free & they take care of your luggage for you & you dont see your luggage until it gets to your room.

Our favorite hotel is Pop Century Resort because it makes you feel like a kid again with all the stuff from each of the years. I love going along the path around Hourglass Lake & reading the signs even if I have read them before. I also love walking on the Generation Gap bridge. I also love the theming of it. Our favorite Moderate resort is Port Orleans resort because I love the New Orleans theme to it & its beautiful. Dont have a favorite Deluxe or Vacation Club resort since we never stayed in them except for Animal Kingdom Lodge. We stayed one night but prefer to visit instead.

Transportation in the World is great. Sometimes the buses take forever but Im not in a hurry & we are all going to the same place. The Monorail can get tight with the ECVs but cant make the Monorail any bigger. The boats are nice if you want a breezy ride which is nice when youre hot.

Hotel hopping can be fun. If we were to stay in any my choices would be Port Orleans again, Wilderness Lodge/Campground, Contemporary, Polynesian, Yacht & Beach Club & maybe the Boardwalk. I dont think we checked out all of the hotels yet. I dont remember visiting Coranado Springs.

In the parks its hard to decide which park is my favorite. In order I would rank them Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, EPCOT & Hollywood Studios. Hollywood Studios needs more attractions.

My favorite attractions would be:

Magic Kingdom- Jungle Cruise, Country Bear Jamboree, Liberty Square Riverboat, Haunted Mansion, "its a small world", Peter Pan's Flight, Mad Tea Party, Mickeys Philharmagic, People mover, Carousel Of Progress & Monsters Inc Laugh Floor.

Animal Kingdom- Kilimanjaro Safari's, Pangani Exploration Trail, Rafikis Planet Watch, Tough To Be A Bug & Camp Minnie-Mickey. I also love Lion King.

EPCOT- Soarin, Test Track, Space Ship Earth, Turtle Talk with Crush, Club Cool, Figment, Off-Kilter & going through each country. Germany is my favorite place to eat.

Hollywood Studios- Toy Story Mania, Backstage Tour, Muppet Vision 4D, Streets Of America, Star Tours 4D, Animation Studios & American Idol Experience.

We have gone to Disney World in different months. My favorite time to go is between Thanksgiving/Christmas so I can see the Christmas decorations & Osbourne Spectacle Of Lights. I also like going in April/May because of the Flower & Garden Festival when they have the Flower Power concerts in EPCOT. I hate going in Sept because its too hot. I would like to try February again because last time we went in Feb it was really cold that we were wearing coats.

We have gone to Disney with many events going on like the Flower & Garden Festival, Food & Wine Festival, Cheerleading competitions, Free Dining & Star Wars Weekends. As I said before, my favorite event is Flower & Garden Festival. I also didn't mind Free Dining.

My favorite places to dine is Biergarten. We must have that twice. I also love Trails End Buffet, Whispering Canyon Cafe, Yachtmans Steakhouse, Beaches & Creme, Rainforest Cafe, Tutto Italia, Tonys Town Square, 50s Prime Time Cafe, Chef Mickey's & others. There are places we havent tried yet.

The cast members are all friendly. They are also very helpful & a few of them can make your time even more magical. I would like to give a shoutout to Kathy & Chris from Magic Kingdom & Shawn from EPCOT. We miss you guys & we will see you guys soon. We will keep in touch & if you happen to come to NYC please let us know.

This is the end of my really long Disologue. I hope you enjoyed reading it & as of now we dont have any Disney plans but when I do, you will know it.

Have a Magical day
