IlumiNations Dessert Party,,,Sweet 16 Bday

We will be celebrating our daughters sweet 16 when we go next May! I want to have a special night out and was thinking about attending the IlumiNations Sparkling Dessert Party in Epcot. What do you all think? Is it a good choice? I also want to have a birthday celebration my our 13 yo daughter whos birthday is the same month. I just wanted to have it separate because its our oldest 16th. Any ideas for the 13yo?

My 16yo son and I have done the Wishes and Illuminations dessert parties, and we agreed, we enjoyed the Illuminations party more---despite the fact that there are no seats for the Illuminations party. We thought the desserts were better, and my son really enjoyed the savory offering of sun dried tomato fondue (I don't eat cheese, so I'll take his word for it). And if it matters to the adults in your party, there are no adult beverages at the Wishes party, but the Illuminations party has sparkling wine (and, if I remember correctly, some sort of rum punch).

Sounds like a great birthday celebration!
Here's my review from last year: We did the Illuminations dessert last week. It was nice. The desserts were yummy and there was a lot of variety from the different countries, like tiramisu, ganache cups, rice krispie treats, churros, and sundaes. We also had coffee, cocoa, and punch. We snagged a seat by the rail to lean on for the show.
I'm glad we did it, but we won't do it again. Also, I canceled a spot the day before and was refunded the money.
