Illuminations with Wishes and Fantasmic

Sorry if this is an old question. Is it possible to make it to the 10:30 show of Fantasmic after Illuminations. It sounds like you can just make it for Wishes after Illuminations but I was wondering about Fantasmic after Illuminations since seating is limited for Fantasmic. And would it make a difference if it was EMH night? Thanks!!!

Illuminations is at 9pm...lasts 15-20 mins...So, yes it would be possible if you watched illuminations from near the international gateway. Then exited the gateway ASAP, got in line for the boat ASAP and changed boats at the Swan/Dolphin (though sometimes I've found they run a direct boat to MGM from epcot but don't know if they do late at night). OR you could walk and it would take about a 1/2 hour or so.

Actually your best bet would be to walk all the way to Swan and Dolphin and catch a boat from there the rest of the way. If you catch it at Epcot it is almost a 1 hour ride from there to MGM.

Thanks for the info and the tip, it's good to know its possible. I figure we'll have to play it by ear. My mom and I are debating if it would be better to try to get my Dad to Fantasmic the same night since he's already out rather than another night. He would love it, but he's the type that before going out on a second night would be like ... I"ve already seen a show...
