Illuminations - Which resorts have the best view?

What area of the resort can you see illuminations from?

We had a spectacular view from our room and balcony at the Dolphin.

...has a wonderful view from those rooms which look out over Crescent Lake. Have never stayed there, but I would assume that the Boardwalk view rooms that are higher up at the BWI or BWV would also have good views of Illuminations.

Beach Club Villas 5th floor with an Epcot view. Some of these rooms have a decent view of Illuminations. Joan

We had YC waterview concierge. Watched Illuminations from our 5th floor balcony practically every night. Can hear the music too. I could lay in my bed and see the Eiffel Tower.......Wow, my favorite resort.

This sounds like the room we stayed in two years ago. Room 5161 had a perfect view of Illuminations and the Eiffel Tower.

Of course you can't see any of the show that takes place on the water (i.e. the globe, fire effects, etc.)

You can see the high fireworks and hear the music from CBR. You get a better view of the fireworks near the Custom house also.
