New IllumiNations Dessert Party open for booking

It has just been announced that Disney will be offering a new dessert party at Epcot! Riding on the huge success of The Tomorrowland Dessert Party, The IllumiNations Dessert Party will open for booking on March 12th, with the grand opening on March 15th. Guests will enjoy IllumiNations from World Showcase Plaza while sampling decadent desserts from around the world. International Sparkling wines will also be available in the exclusive and intimate setting to be paired with the desserts.

This is a great way to top off the day at Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival, or a hot summer day around the World Showcase. As of the writing of this article no end date of the experience has been announced.

Here’s a list of the dessert that will be offered:
Italy – Tiramisú
France – Vanilla Pot de Crème
United Kingdom – Shortbread Cookies
Morocco – Traditional Baklava
America – Little Cronis (Croissant Doughnuts)
Disney Parks – Ice Cream Novelties
International Sparkling Wines

Price: Adults (10 & up) $ 49.99 – Children (3-9) $ 29.00
Price includes tax and 18% gratuity
Event dates: 2014 Time: 8:00pm – 9:20pm
Event days will be -Wednesday’s, Fridays, and Saturday’s
Starting Saturday, March 15th 2014
7:45pm - Guest arrive to viewing location
7:45 – 9:20pm - Dessert Party begins
9:00pm - IllumiNations: reflections of earth is presented
No Seating

This sounds really cool. I will be interested to see how this compares to the Tomorrow Land Dessert Party.

Keep pushing. This is quite typical and you will find the same issue when looking for the Tomorrow Land one as well.

I agree on the no seating. I will not be booking for this reason and limited to 5 desserts and just ice cream and sparkling wines. No thank you ! It would be $200 for my family of 2 adults and 2 Disney adults for no seating.

without knowing what sparkling wine they're serving, and knowing they're allowing under-21, we won't be buying. I was temporarily excited because I'd pay for an alcoholic adults-only viewing of illuminations.
