Illuminations Rumor From Wickipedia!!!

"It is rumored that Don Dorsey [Creator of the score of Illuminations: Reflection of Earth] is currently working on a new fireworks show to replace Reflections of Earth called "IllumiNations: The SkyDance" which could premiere in 2009."

I WOULD BE SOOOOO UPSET! Illuminations is my FAVORITE show and if that score was changed, it would truly ruin something close to me...

Anyone else feel that way? Or rather, what do you think of this news?

ALSO! I won't be graduating from college until 2010, which means that I won't get to go back to Disney (due to $$$) before they would change it...so I couldn't even videotape it or anything!!!

I agree 100%.

The music is fantastic, I'd see it even if I couldn't see any fireworks. Out of an 8 night trip, I saw it 6/8 nights. It's the best fireworks/laser show EVER! I hope they never replace it...

Illuminations always changes, it hasn't been Reflections of Earth forever. There needs to be a change, I'd like to see them make an Illuminations that is even better then the current one.

And btw Jessie...the guy who designed Wishes is the guy who designed Illuminations...just so you know that you are dissing the guy who made the show you love by totally ripping apart his masterpiece...at least have reasons...? JMHO...

I can honestly say I've never seen Illuminations but I would believe the opposite of what Wikipedia says lol. Considering any public person can edit the articles.

Let's hope this is not true for the sake of those who do love Illuminations!

Ryan, she likes wishes. Hates illuminations.

I also read ash's post as kindof tounge in cheek joking. with the "I feel betrayed"

I'm not much of a fan of the fireworks shows, because I go into the parks as soon as they open or before if I"ve got breakfast ADRs and I really don't care to stay all day (i'm really not good in high temps.). I've seen all of the shows, but really once is enough for me.

In addition to my other post, I've heard that I:ROE might get a tag at the end for Epcot's 25th in 2007 for about a year, and there might be a change in the show in 2009-10. The new version would have the inferno barge and the TV globe we all love, in addition to new stuff...but chances are this is not true and no one should believe it...so forget I ever made this post...NOW!
