Illuminations or Wishes Cruise?

Looking for opinions...which one do you guys like better & why?

I liked wishes cruise better. I love the music and the theme of wishes (all the characters). I just think it is much more disney then illuminations.
The only plus of illuminations is you are actually tied down to something, so you arent driffting in the water. during wishes everysooften our driver had to resposition us.

We haven't been on the Wishes Cruise -- are going this year. The Illuminations cruise was nice and now there are even fewer boats so makes it more difficult to book. You anchor right under the bridge so you get a great view...and while it is a superb seat and nice boat ride ... there wasn't anything "magical" about it. I've heard the wishes cruise is much more "disney" especially for kids and the Illuminations cruise seems to be very nice but not MK disney. Hope that makes sense.

I had two reservations for Nov. 18 wishes cruise. Some guests canceled out so I only need one. I just canceled so if anyone is looking for one for that date it might still be available.

We did a Wishes cruise on September 18th and it was absolutely magical! It is undoubtedly the best way to view Wishes & you get to "cruise the lagoon" before the show starts.

The Wishes Cruise is much easier to get. I called Sept 10th for an Illuminations Cruise. The Illuminations cruises were gone, but I was offered a Wishes Cruise. I turned it down and called again the next day for the Illuminations Cruise. I got the Illuminations Cruise for Dec 10th and out of curiosity asked about a Wishes Cruise. I was again offered one, but decided to turn it down. You can get a good view of Wishes from just about anywhere in MK and to me Wishes is one of those shows that needs to be viewed from near the castle with alot of people around you. It is much more difficult to get a really good view of Illuminations.

I have a couple of extra seats on our Illuminnations Cruise by the way if anyone is interested.
